  1. Beautiful castle SK! I love the SNOT walls, they change it up quite nicely. Also, the funny story was great! Was it your bro that you collabed with?...
  2. Awesome build Mike! The use of all of the gold on the furniture is cool, it portrays the wealth of the Bishop nicely. Nice job with the chandelier as well!
  3. Great job with all the thick vegetation here, It looks very nice! Great job with the coffin as well. I see those gold engine pieces - nice!
  4. Great series Rogue Angel! As others said, that pastry chef is just perfect! The orc farmer is also very funny.
  5. Very nice job on that dragon and the broken pillars! It feels a lot like it could be a scene from the hobbit, with the dragon sleeping on his treasure, and the people hiding behind the pillar.
  6. Great job on this build! The gallows design is nicely done (if a gallows can be nice, haha), and the insect-oid creatures look perfectly situated in nocturnus.
  7. Wow, I can't wait to see Amortug all together, all of these builds have been great! I have to say, I'm really a fan of the way those battlements look, I'm gonna have to use that design sometime.
  8. Nice build man! I like the oriental feel, that's something we don't see enough of in GoH.
  9. Cool series Bregir! I think the orc warchief is my favorite, he looks kind of like the original Bolg design from the Hobbit. I'm not sure how well the merchant captain fits in GoH though... but he looks cool!
  10. Nice job TUB! You've done a nice job with limited resources. And I love seeing a dewback being used in GoH!
  11. Another amazing build from you cesbrick! The way you make these builds have those crazy (yet realistic) angles, and have it stay together, is beyond me!
  12. Great scene BrickCurve! The thick foliage around the the river looks perfect, and really gives the build a lush feel. My only advice (and this is just personal preference) would be to maybe try a little more uniformity in the colors on the tower, as it feels a bit pattern-y, if that makes sense. I do like that you're creating your own style though, as Mike said. It's always cool to be able to recognize someones building style!
  13. Beautiful build vitreolum! I love the "furniture", and the incorporation of a statue into the throne room. I do agree with what's been said about adding a bit of a description, but I don't really have any advice on that, as a lot of my descriptions tend to be rather dull... But great job on this, and keep it up!
  14. Yes.... ZC.... We see where your true alliance lies. Once an Avalonian, always an Avalonian... Don't try to hold it back.... Feel the flower power... Anyways... Sweet build, there's so much great detail! I especially like the noria design, some clever parts usage there. And the pulley above the barn is quite a nice touch. Overall the build just feels quite inviting!
  15. Oh, ok Ecc. I guess WIP wasn't really the right choice of words... But I'll try to get it finished.
  16. Here's my WIPs for Cat. B and C, they should be finished by tomorrow or the next day. Cat. B - Ancient Halls Cat. C - On Avalonian Shores
  17. My Cat. C entry - When the elves learned of the dwarves plan, they immediately sent soldiers to patrol the shores where the dwarves were planning on landing. Meanwhile, the dwarves carried on with their plan, oblivious to the fact that they had been found out. Once the dwarves had reached their landing spot, they began to unload their supplies and weapons, but were immediately interrupted by the sound of an elvish horn blowing. Elvish archers appeared on the rocky cliff above them, causing them to dive for cover behind their supply barrels. Several of the dwarven guards who were armed formed a shield wall, preparing to charge the elves, while others grabbed bows. But the elves just stayed put, bows drawn - It was a face off, and neither side looked willing to back down...
  18. Here's my Cat. B entry - With the news of the dwarves plan to invade Avalonia from sea, a diplomat was sent to the the woodland elves who make their home in the south of Avalonia. The plan was to tell them of the plot, and convince them to peacefully stop the dwarves. But whether or not they would listen remained to be seen...
  19. Ok, thanks Kabel! I'll try that.
  20. Darn, I don't think I'll be able to get my builds up in time then... I still have to finish the last bit of one build, and photograph them.
  21. Here's category A - Loose Tongues
  22. Though it was known that the dwarves were planning some sort of invasion into Avalonia to fight the Drow, the specifics of where, when, and how, were still unknown. So to find out , it was decided to use a different sort of method to get the dwarves to talk... Mead. Lots of Mead. Just how much, and how expensive it would be, was definitely underestimated. Buy them a couple of drinks, the spies were told, and they'll start talking. A couple? The dwarves guzzled the mead by the bottle, and it wasn't until the head spy ordered the tavern keeper to bring out his supply barrel that the dwarves were finally drunk enough to let loose. Seeing the barrel being brought to their table, one dwarf was so overjoyed (err, drunk) that he jumped on the table and started bragging about his clan's "ingenious" plan to "get around the elves and crush those bloody drow". This plan involved sailing down to the Southern Avalonia coast where they would be least expected, while their kinsman tunneled over the border, providing a distraction. Once on Avalonian shores, they could use the ancient drow tunnels, of which they had acquired maps of, to come up from the south, defeat the drow, and be gone before the elves could discover they were there. While the dwarves continued their revelry, the spies took their leave, and headed swiftly to report the news. Whatever was necessary must be done to stop the dwarves from possibly causing a civil war. One of the dwarves must have fallen onto the floor in a drunken stupor... Ah, well, he's happy at least. His other companion looks like he might soon join him... Here's the build minus the minifigs and mead. Another last minute entry from me... I guess I'm carrying on my tradition, or something like that. I got the idea for the build yesterday, and managed to mostly finish it last night. We'll see if I can build my ideas for Cat. B and C in time too... Anyways, I hope y'all like it, and thanks for looking!
  23. Haha, same here narbilu, I've been so busy, I haven't done much building. But I'm hoping (emphasize hoping) to be able to enter all three categories... We'll see if I can make it in 6 days. It's gonna be a lot of building for me this week!
  24. Haha, thanks ZC! He probably immigrated from Nocturnus though... Thanks SK! Thank you Cap. Braunsfeld! Thanks man! Cheers lord raphael! Glad you like his story. Thanks man! The shield's made by using two of these, and one of these.
  25. Thanks man! Thanks! Haha, I hadn't heard of Oblivion before now... Thanks Garmadon! Thank you Jakorin! Cheers Slegengr! Thanks mccoyed! The shield was my attempt at a tower shield/roman scutum shield, since I don't own any of the actual ones. Thanks Rogue! I agree about the viking shields, they can be really useful for more variety. Cheers LordDan! Thanks man! And nah, the fig was originally just an accident, but then I liked it! Thank you MKJoshA! And be my guest with the spear! I based it on the spears the Gondor soldiers use in LOTR. Thanks man! Glad you like my random humor!
