[Plot for Peace] Ch.III Men Cat. B
Hammerhand replied to Jakorin Swiftsword's topic in Guilds of Historica
Really cool build man! The tower looks great, I love the design for the stone part, as well as the wood part above. And great idea for stopping the dwarves! -
Book II - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Hammerhand replied to Rogue Angel's topic in Guilds of Historica
What's going on fellow Avalonians? It's been pretty quite here lately other than DG's build... I myself have been kind of swamped with other life stuff, haven't had hardly any building time, and I haven't really been keeping up with things in GoH. It seems like I kind of get busy, and don't post for a while, and then I come back for a few days, and then I get busy again... Sigh... -
Bk.2: Ch.3: Cat.A: Intrigued by Intrigue
Hammerhand replied to Slegengr's topic in Guilds of Historica
Whoa, crazy cool build here! That roof is totally awesome, and the wall texture with all the different tiles looks superb. Nice job with the supports too!- 47 replies

Cool, nice tower! The rock work looks very believable, and the tower has a nice rugged feel to it. It must be a bit cramped to live inside though!

Really nice idea, and great execution of it! The meat hanging inside is perfect!
-
Lovely build de Gothia! The angling on the walls looks great, that's something that I always have a hard time with. Really nice!
-
Really cool, the different layer of ground look great! I was wondering if those ice skates might be useful for something like that... Now I know!

Nice series of builds, you've got some nice details here! I do think that a bit more uniformity with the colors might work a bit better though, but nice job!

TSOLM - Part 4 - The passing of Raghas Memnon [Freebuild]
Hammerhand replied to Jorrith's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nice job on this! I love how you made the "spirit" coming out of Raghas, and the cairn of stones to show where he's buried.- 14 replies

Awesome job! You've got lots of great texturing here, and the details like the bubble in the swamp and the rafters showing through are top notch.

Totally agree. Also, this topic is about Lego Hobbit 2014 - which is going to involve the BOFA movie. The lego sets are "spoilers". You've got the witch king set, the BOFA set, both of which kind of "spoil" part of the plot.

It actually look like Thranduil tries to decapitate Tauriel at one point...

Looks cool!

For me also, because I didn't keep the boxes. I've never taken the arms off though, so I'm good there.

Yes, I also have had that happen to several of my LOTR/Hobbit minifigs. I was really ticked off that it happened to my 1 and only rohan soldier. It also happened to some of my uruk hai, and few others. I don't even play with them, it just happened. I wonder if I reported a broken piece on the lego site if I could get another rohan soldier...

Ch lll: Cat A: Dwarves: Leaving Home
Hammerhand replied to TheUtilityBelt's topic in Guilds of Historica
Good job with this, the monument does look like it's build into a cliff. One suggestion would be to extend the cliff to the borders of the build, though, to make it look a bit more complete. -
Ch. lll - cat. A - not so abandoned warehouse...
Hammerhand replied to Alfadas's topic in Guilds of Historica
Cool! I'm with Vlad, I would never have even known there was anyone behind the barrels! Nice job. -

Very cool build cesbrick! There's too much great stuff here to pick out just one thing! Also, I think this build fits in fine, because in the books, Gandalf stayed around for quite a while before sailing with Frodo, Galadriel, Celeborn, Bilbo, and Elrond to the undying lands.

Ah, cool build! I really like the man-bat, he looks awesome.

Book II Chapter III: Dwarven Statues
Hammerhand replied to MiloNelsiano's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nice idea with the sunken hand, it shows that the original statue must have been quite large! I agree with the others that some more landscaping inside the hand would be nice, just so it flow a bit better, and not be so bare. -
Book 2 Challenge 3: Category A: Old Faces
Hammerhand replied to mccoyed's topic in Guilds of Historica
Cool, the angled statue head looks great! It kind of reminds me of some of the statues you see in the south pacific, actually. Really nice job! -
Nice job, the mill/saw looks great, nice parts usage there! I also like your soldiers uniforms, they look very Mitgardian.

Cool, but... Am I the only one who doesn't know what a Taakin is?...
