  1. Thank you de Gothia, glad you like it! Thank you Garmadon, I appreciate the advice!
  2. Very funny! I love those towel racks using the 1x3 plates and the white cylinder, great idea.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions Gabe!
  4. Very nice wagon Kabel! And I like the use of the old Castle torso, always love to see those. What piece is that green plate piece on the road? Never seen that before.
  5. Thanks! Thank you! I didn't really like using the headlight bricks to attach the supports, but i couldn't think of anything smaller that would work and give me the right angle. Thanks! I'm glad I made the deadline too, even if it was barely!
  6. Nice trees and vines! The gardener looks like he takes his job very seriously.
  7. Nice tower! The texture on the red wall part is very nice. And the peasant sitting on the back of the cart is perfectly posed, great job!
  8. Love the vegetation! Looks just like somewhere an elf would be hanging out.
  9. Cool! I really like the tower, and the house using snot to get the lines on the side, very nice.
  10. Cool build Gabe! I love the use of the Chima parts for the figurehead, works perfectly. And the ship is a nice throwback to the orient expedition one, which I also have. I'll have to try making a ship using that sail. I also really like how you showed the water line, with the sea weed and then the dark tan to show wet sand, it looks great!
  11. Thank you Carson! Thanks robuko! Actually it's supposed to be right on the Mitgardian border, but I guess it does resemble Kaliphlin quite a bit. Thanks Vlad! Thank you Kai! I must say though, it looks better in person than in the pictures.
  12. Really cool Mathew! I love the dark lighting, and the little bit of light in the upper left that looks like moonlight. The wall texture and the thick ground foliage give it a really nice old castle feel, which is perfect. Very nice job!
  13. Wow, those are some beautiful elven buildings, Torgar! The whole thing is just so awesome, from the vines, down to the rock work. Absolutely great.
  14. Funny idea, robuko! The build looks great, and the roof made out of tiles not all the way pushed down looks good.
  15. Ha, great posing in that first picture! I really like the cobblestone path, too. Sadly, I somehow don't have any of those circle/tile pieces in gray (don't know the actual piece name)... Another item for the "get" list.
  16. Cool tunnel entrance, did you use the mixel joints for that? Looks really nice!
  17. Lovely tower, and the scaffolding looks great too! Nice story as well, I like the humor mixed in. Great job (Lord) Simon!
  18. Nice! I love the forced perspective, and that tree.
  19. With the incursion of the Drow, and the imminent threat of an attack, Sir Brychan has ordered that old fortifications be revamped, and that new ones be constructed. One such temporary defensive structure, under the supervision of one of his generals, is being toured by Sir Brychan. Overall shot Overall shot 2 Soldiers constructing a palisade Sir Brychan and his General Well, I made it. I only had one day, but evidently it was enough. I drew my inspiration for the tower from "Braveheart", as you can probably tell. It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it, but that's what I get for procrastinating... Hope you guys like it!
  20. I'm gonna attempt to squeeze in a build for Cat. B tomorrow... We'll see if I can do it in 24 hours.... Wish me luck.
  21. Forgot to post the link to my Cat. A entry for Team Simon - Old Friends Cat. B - Team Simon - New Fortifications
  22. Very nice Gary! How did you do the cross design thing in the sides of the bridge? It looks really cool. Oh, and I'm guessing one of the symbolic characteristics of the build is that the soldiers from the North are up and to the right (North and East), and the soldiers from the South are down and to the left (South and West)?
  23. Great job! The main house looks very nice, and the burnt one also is very nicely done. The chaos of the evacuation with all the people and their belongings really gives this scene a panicked feel, which is perfect.
  24. Beautiful build Gabe! I love the colors, and that red roof, and the stairs look great with that curve to them. Very nice tree too! Great build!
  25. Awesome build Kayne! I love to see ships in a build, and this whole scene is just lovely. Great buildings, and the ruins are sweet, though I wouldn't want to be sailing underneath that main arch if it was very windy! I have to say, maybe my favorite part of this build is that amazing water, the way you darkened and lightened the various parts to show the depth is just superb.
