  1. Alright, how much? How much did they pay you? Leave it to those Kaliphlinians to pay off people... I suppose It's the only way anyone will join their guild anyways.
  2. Hersir of Archery: Wat Tambor Hersir of Infantry: Gunman Hersir of Cavalry: Garmadon Great entries everyone, lots of cool ideas and great building techniques used.
  3. I don't think it's been posted here yet, but the Hobbit videogame all cut-scenes is up on YouTube. Kind of fun to see all the characters in a lego version. Kind of odd, but I noticed the orc who goes to kill bilbo/thorin in the warg attack/tree scene has the CMF sumo wrestler's hair piece.
  4. Gondor battlepack... Oh wait, it got eliminated. I guess I'm going with Minas Tirith. I would prefer it to be broken down in a couple different sets though, like a courtyard/tower/white tree set, a wall/trebuchet/siege tower set, and a gate set, etc.. Make them all modular, and voila, you can have a big Minas Tirith if you get all the sections, and you would also have an option for a battle pack. That would be ideal for me.
  5. Nice ship, and cool photos ME! Neat shape and design with the ram. And the marsh is quite nice too.
  6. There's sure been some nice entries lately! I'm hoping to get the final version of my WIP up soon. I finished dying the sails today, so I'm pretty close to done.
  7. As has been said you could use them in any guild. My personal heraldry is blue and white (still working on the final design), but my guild's (Avalonia) official colors are dark and sand green. So whatever guild you like the best is what you should go for. But I would advise you to choose wisely. Here's something to give you a little taste of each guild... Taken from Garlam Nesselbrood's guide to Historica - Nocturnus - ~Common foods: "Pumpkin" pies*, cannibal stew ~Most popular pass-time: Anything involving death ~Sight seeing attractions: Lava floes, poisonous marshes ~Climate: Unstable ~Main export: Assassins. And bad ones at that Kaliphlin - ~Common foods: Fried scorpion, elephant ears** ~Most popular pass-time: Talking. A lot. ~Sight seeing attractions: Sand, deserts, the occasional oasis, sand ~Climate: Hot. Hardly ever under 37 degrees celsius (100 fahrenheit) ~Main export: Glass (what else are they to do with all that sand) Mitgardia: ~Common foods: Frozen walrus, frozen yak, ~Most popular pass time: Making snowmen ~Sight seeing attractions: Snow, ice, glaciers, snow drakes, snow ~Climate: Frozen, rarely over 0 degrees celsius (32 fahrenheit) ~Main export: Timber (frozen), ice Avalonia: ~Common foods: Venison, sweet meats, vegetables, fruits ~Most popular pass time: Athletic competitions such as archery, fencing, Javelin throw ~Sight seeing attractions: Elven forests, city of Albion (grand capital of Avalonia), peaceful coastline ~Climate: Mild, not prone to extreme heat or cold ~Main export: Fine horses, superb weaponry, elven foresters, seeds from the great trees of Avalonia *It should be noted that theses pumpkin pies are prone to biting the heads off of would-be consumers, caution is advised **These are literal elephant ears, not the kind made out of dough, cinnamon, and sugar that are found at fairs and carnivals
  8. Just awesome! I love roman-esque builds, and you've made a spectacular one here. Nice job!
  9. I agree that Dori was more prominent. It seemed like most every scene with the company featured him somehow, especially once at Erebor. I thought it a bit odd, and wondered if there was a reason he was shown so much (not that I'm complaining.) He may not have been talking in every scene, but he was up front in a lot of the shots, so I would expect him to be in the Erebor set. Plus he's one of my favorite dwarves.
  10. Looking awesome! So many details and things to take in. Can't wait to see more progress!
  11. Gondor all the way! This is the main set left that I want from Lego LOTR. A fairly cheap way we can get a lot of Gondor soldiers, and maybe some new print orcs with helms maybe, if it was done in fashion of UHA and MEA, and I'm happy. I still would love to have (or really want) the other sets that have been on here, but a Gondor battlepack is the one set that I would have to have out of all of them.
  12. Haha, it seems Alice and the Hare need their coffee to make them brave enough to go searching for ghosts... Nice continuation of the story, the chaos in the background gives it a nice attic feel. And you've got quite a few ghosts there!
  13. Cool scene! Nice to see some drow getting whipped in a fight. And the axe Valanice is wielding is quite impressive! My only suggestion would be to try to round the corners of the weeping willow, so it's a little less square. But other than that, great scenery!
  14. Haha, I was going to say the exact same thing Scaevola, that hairpiece is pretty amusing. I really like the chapel, it has a nice clean look. I always love to see stained glass too!
  15. NIce barracks! Love the SNOT roof, and the different angles.
  16. Sweet build! The wolf head is a nice touch, gives kind of a rustic-lodge fee to the study, and the globe mounted on the stand is also really cool, great idea.
  17. Darn, I love the wall texturing using those tiles, it looks sweet. The mix of colors is very nice, great job.
  18. The forced perspective is indeed great! I like how you included the Indian's camp and the tepees, along with the pirate's ship. Another great chapter/build!
  19. Elven battlepack. It would have the most useful figs for me, especially if it had new elven helmets and swords.
  20. Awesome ship! On closer inspection, I'm very impressed with some of the techniques you've used to make different angles! Attempting things like that would make me insane, I don't have that kind of patience! Great job!
  21. There was some examples recently here when I asked a similar question, and on the page before it I believe. But I don't know of any others.
  22. Very nice entry! I like your custom sail, and the ship's head/tail. I must admit, I'm slightly jealous of all your shields...
  23. I see now that Dugal is married, his wife is influencing his color choices... But really nice build, the architecture and color schemes are very pleasing to the eye, and those custom curtains are cool!
  24. That makes me concerned whether they will show Bilbo making it back to the Shire or not. I was hoping they'd at least show him coming home and ticking off the Sackville-Baggins when he claims Bag End again. It would make a funny scene.
