  1. Updated my list with more S11 for trade and added Movie figs to my wants.
  2. An interesting question that I've had to think long and hard about. On the one hand if LSW stopped now I would be a wealthier man, no longer having to obsessively collect OT sets and minifigures. It might even give me more time for MOCs which would be good, and I could happily make more custom figures without Lego producing better official versions mere months later . But on the other hand, even though I feel absolutely no excitement about Episode VII and the SW Rebels series, these could potentially, at least, give my wallet a rest if TLG produce less OT sets in favour of those themes. Although, if a Rebels theme ended up with some minifigs based on Ralf McQuarrie's art or even a set based on a concept Y-Wing, I'd probably get drawn into buying those too . Damn. I still can't decide.
  3. Toys R Us website are listing some Star Wars sets at a pretty good price - and not even marked as special offers. I don't normally look at TRU so maybe this is old news... 66449 3 in 1 value pack for £49.99 (includes 75014 Battle of Hoth currently £34.99, 75003 A-Wing & 75000) The horrible 7879 Hoth Echo Base for £59.99 and for those who missed them... LSW 2013 Advent Calendar available for £17.99 at some stores and the recently retired 10227 UCS B-Wing at some stores (didn't even know TRU sold UCS sets).
  4. If you look closely at the edge of the Cantina picture linked by CM4S (thanks for the pics ) it looks like there's an additional Bith figure that's been cut off - so the Cantina could well contain the full band.
  5. +1 to UsernameMDM Thanks for a great trade
  6. Yippi-Ki-Yay!!! I won on Sunday with my Die Hard themed ornament, literally moments after I'd finished watching Die Hard on TV, and I won figs from my favourite theme! - Coincidence? Fate? or did the ritualistic sacrifice of a goat finally pay dividends? Huge thanks to CopMike and Sinner for all their much appreciated efforts hosting this EB event and then even more thanks to CopMike for having the patience of a saint
  7. A mate emailed me the link to these crafty, festive Star Wars snow-flakes by Anthony Herrera - Link there's also some 2012 versions - Link. You can download pdf templates for each design and spend some crafty time with the kids making Star Wars themed decorations (if you're not building Lego with them of course). I'm sure you'll agree his designs are brilliant!
  8. Congratulations to the well deserved winners and thanks to Peppermint_M for the contest
  9. We may tell our significant others that we love to snuggle with a box of chocolates and "It's a wonderful life" on TV. But let's be honest, It just wouldn't be Christmas without some nice cold biers and Die Hard! (OK, Maybe some chocolates too). Lego Die Hard Christmas Decoration on flickr Thanks to CopMike for the fun raffle.
  10. Great figures! Much as I admire molded alien heads, I always think it's so much more in the spirit of Lego to see them brick built. There's some fantastic parts usage here, I particularly like the frogs on Sy Snootles but the Ithorian and Aqualish are my favourites
  11. You've really done a great job of replicating the spherical shape. It certainly looks better than 9492 - it's not really fair to compare an MOC to a set, but imho Lego seemed to have made some strange decisions on the shape of that one. I'm keen to see how much further you develop this 'prototype'. Good work

  18. Is this the end for Doctor Rodney Rathbone... Captured and hung like a pheasant in the abominable Yeti's lair, this is no way for a gentleman to die, with the stench of death and decay in his nostrils. If only there were some mystical force he could call upon to deliver his trusty rapier into his hand... Wampa Yeti Cave on flickr
  19. I've occasionally used the search feature by inputting a members name to find out if they have feedback that isn't listed on the first page. So, it does still work (sort of).
