  1. Nice, 5 years is impressive. Hopefully there are many more to come Thanks for all who have helped make it fun so far!
  2. The commotion around the quest board stirs Darksten from his slumber. Seeing the quest, Darksten stumbles over to sign his name to Quest #152. On his way back to his usual table he begins to check out the other heroes in the hall.
  3. Since I am considering breaking into the real estate market, I have a random question. If I plan on making a combined MOC with multiple properties (like the modulates with multiple shops in one building) can I post one thread and claim multiple properties, or do I need an individual thread/pictures for each? If individual thread, do I need to separate the property in question even if it won't look right not being connected to the other properties? Thanks for the clarification!
  4. Darksten is distracted from his thoughts by the commotion at the quest board. Strolling over, he reads the new quest and quickly signs his name. Darksten signs up for quest #151
  5. Thanks for all the hard work put into this! It definitely shows. My one questions, if our event shows "went to Ilse de Romantica" doe we auto qualify for the free medium residence there or only if we were one of the ones listed in the article? Thanks again!
  6. The keen eye of the Novitius's Captain saw how the curves of the land matched the map he had been given by his employer. Having sent his crew ashore in the rowboat, he was happy to hear they had struck gold! Though the haul held many treasures, by the time the crew and others split their shares it was a lot smaller of a portion for each man. Yet, no one was complaining! I know it is a bit late, but I figured I would post for feedback/criticism at the very least!
  7. Darksten awakens from his slumber, checks the board again and is about to slip back into sleep before deciding he was too bored of waiting for the right quest to appear. Thus, even though he felt he didn't have the right criteria, he felt it was better than nothing and signed up for quest #150
  8. There are some nice pieces, and creative uses. I liked the freezers! You can definitely tell that real world groceries were used as inspiration for this build.
  9. Thanks for the fun game! As mentioned in the dead board, I wasn't a huge fan of the "majority vote" but it worked out so I cannot complain. I still cannot understand all the role claims! Haha
  10. I personally find the older style aircraft more appealing and play friendly. As a huge aviation fan, I started out trying to collect all the aircraft but these newer aircraft are turning me off. While the newer aircraft are fun at first, after a while they become a pile of specialized parts that are not easily integrated into other creations. The older aircraft however are easier to modify (IMO, though the above are impressive), can be broken down and used in other creations easier, and also allow for fun by building airports using the existing road bases.
  11. This is awesome. When I think of a Lego fortification of this era, this is what I think of. The foliage is well done, the fortification well built, and the figures compliment it all nicely. Bravo!
  12. The crew of the Novitius knew this was dangerous waters, and all hands were on the rails to watch for the jagged rocks which protruded from the sea. It was the keen eye of the first mate which spotted her first, a tangle of planks and rope smashed up against the rocks. With both a mind for treasure, and a heart for the fellow seamen potentially trapped in the wreck, a rowboat was lowered to the waters and sent to further investigate. Though no signs of human life were spotted, modest goods and treasure were found on what was assessed to be the wreck of the LeGrande. As always, feedback is welcome!
  13. Nice! I really like the feel of this. Not only does it have a good story, use unique parts (the raised baseplate), it also captures that "Lego" feel to me!
  14. Well done, it captures a jungle feel with some nice little details. The headgear is a bit "odd" but that adds to the humor/realism of engaging with a foreign tribe! +1 from this Sea Rat
  15. Nice action scenes. They really play well into the story. +1 from this Sea Rat
  16. Nice plantation! +1 from this Sea Rat
  17. This is a nice little market. It would be cool to see it busier with more stalls and people, but I do like this version! +1 from this Sea Rat
  18. The white fence seems a little much and adds a cartoonish feel (never mind the Simpson's cat) but either way it is a nice little MOC and I like the crops! +1 from this Sea Rat!
  19. A nice little scene. It conveys a sort of frenzied researcher feel. +1 from this Sea Rat!
  20. Everyone with power roles really should start thinking with their brains and be more strategic about who they tell about their roles, and how.... While conversation helps, the goal is to get the Scum to mess up so we can figure out who they are... not the other way around. With that said, I am glad we have a lead. Vote: David Leffel I agree that holding off was probably smart to offer a chance for conversation and not just bandwagoning, but now we will see how the rest of the day and night play out now... My suspicion was peaked a little by James Cunningham's (Bob's) recent posts. It seemed to me like he tried hard to provide analysis (with out really providing anything of much significance - from what I saw) and also tried hard to tie himself to successful Scum killings (while also giving himself the cover of plausibility by highlighting some mistakes). It just read weird to me and I will continue to assess... Just to ensure proper formatting.... Vote: David Leffel (fhomess)
  21. First off, I don't like the private conversations going on this early in the game. There in theory is only one known good player to the investigators and yet it seems we are blowing a whole heck of a lot of players' covers off of theories. I encourage people to think through all options before they divulge secrets outside or inside of the game to people they don't know much about. That being said, while some of the exposed conversation seems fishy, I don't necessarily see a smoking gun. I think player A did the most damage to the town by exposing all the players (especially if it is who I assume it is), which is sad because player A is probably town. But we will see what tonight's results bring in. I still have suspicions in Lawson, especially given his action today (changing vote to player who tried to post evidence - even if it was extremely stupid of that player to do so). However, I am going to cut him some slack because we are forced to get a ridiculously high standard to lynch and the game will not progress without the town getting involved. unvote: Eugene Lawson (Foressto). Likewise, because there is some evidence against him vote: Steven Schram (Khscarymovie4) so we can move forward...
  22. Well that is unfortunate, though interesting... We now have some data to analyze. First, here was no reason for a night kill of our now deceased pizza guy. He was a viable lynch option as even I thought he could be scum based off the very limited data we had. - So that asks why he was killed? My thought is he was killed to deflect suspicion from the scum. This is because yesterday I posted that if the pizza guy turned out to be town,I would be less suspicious of Eugene Lawson (Forresto) due to the nature of yesterday's play out. I think the scum, knowing the pizza man was innocent, murdered him hoping I would lead the cause of professing the innocence of Lawson. However, I was of course only analyzing lynch perspectives and now see new trends. When factoring in the above, and the speculation on scum roles/numbers/etc, it is possible to see other trends towards scum. Of note, Lawson had a 4 vote penalty against him. If there was the perceived minimum scum count of three, all they would need to do is pile on and convince two other players to join them in order to remove an innocent player. A fact that would be easier if there was the possible four scum infiltrating us. Additionally, this move would have cut down on communications (always a scum weakness) as a bandwagon would probably occurred and could have been tried to be passed off as doing the "easy lynch" on day one. Instead, a lot more effort was put into convincing the town to vote elsewhere. This makes me believe that the scum was trying to protect Lawson (Forresto) For that reason I VOTE: Eugene Lawson (Forresto) I am happy to discuss but will likely be busy in the lab quite a bit so may not be able to respond right away
  23. This Sea Rat approves of this build! I like this build as a polished finished product, but it does seem a little modern. If I was to make suggestions to make it seem to fit in a little better to the way I view the world (IMO) it would be to make the path less smooth and have only one sign. But as I said, that is just me and this is a great build either way!
  24. This Sea Rat approves of this shop! I hope they accept stolen gold as payment for a pirate's best friend!
