SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 1
Comrade Commander replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
That's the things guys, I don't we don't necessarily have to lynch tonight if we cannot come up with a good solution. We may let a Mafia Scum live one more day if we are narrowing in on them, but we also might avoid lynching a town. Once we get more insight into what the HYDRA spies are thinking, we will be able to see what we can piece together. So bottom line, it is hard to get good evidence today, but don't make changes just because we "have to get a lynch" My vote remains as while I am seeing increasing suspicion, I still don't trust that Scot! -
I am not sure I necessarily agree with that decision as I think it can play into the hands of the scum later into the game when we start to match the numbers of the scum and they can then sway the game their way more, but I will respect your decision and play accordingly. Thanks for the clarification!

So if we are required to get nine votes for a lynch this round, what happens if no player hits that mark then? In theory everyone could vote for someone different with Junior Shark then having 5 as the simple majority and everyone else 1 vote.

I distinctly remember Darksten standing his own alongside Grimwald, and a certain Munchkin constantly hiding and/or having to retrieve his weapons all the time ;) haha Either way, I didn't know I was in the history books for that quest! Per my charachter's thoughts in game, do we need a simple majority (+1) to lynch [as it says in the rules] or a super majority (9) [as it says in the vote tally post? Since people could split votes a number of ways we may not reach 9, so my thoughts would be a simple majority but I wanted to clairfy

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 1
Comrade Commander replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wait, does anyone know how the pizza man got in here? We don't let just anyone in... he must have had help! Vote: Kinjobby O’Laughlin played by Junior Shark Thinking to herself: Any first day vote is a random shot in the dark, and this is what this vote mostly is. However, I have some reasoning. First, he was part of one of our first bandwagons. There is obviously little evidence to work off of as mentioned previously so I won't hold his vote against him. However, I find the rapid bandwagon and attempt to possibly cover it (with people leaving soon after) a bit fishy. Second, I found myself skimming his posts because of the fantastic role play making it hard for this "Yankee" to understand. That got me thinking that if he was scum, it would be a perfect cover if everyone also skimmed like me. This is because everyone would know him as the "funny/drunk pizza guy" but not remember any damning evidence against him, thus making it easier to skate by in future votes. Third, if he does turn out Scum, my suspicion turns towards Lawson and the other band wagoners. If he is unfortunately innocent, I loose a little suspicion towards Lawson. Finally, I see a couple of outcomes with this vote. Members could potentially bandwagon (if so I hope it is for logic and not just because it is easy) and we lynch the Pizza Man (who I do hope is Hydra). The other option is if members could continue to split votes and no one gets a super majority needed for a lynch, in which case I am not 100% sure what happens. The outcomes would be either the member with the most votes still gets lynched (who I would think would likely be Lawson due to his handy cap being hard to over come - and who as I mentioned I have some suspicions) or no one gets lynched at all in which case we don't risk lynching a possible SHIELD member and can analyze the night actions with what we have today to give us a little more "evidence" So my one question is if a member still gets lynched if they don't get the super majority but still have the majority of the vote. I will have to find out from some of the leadership! Hmm, will have to see how this plays out -

Darksten walks back into the Hall, having been kept away for much too long. He found his usual spot in the back vacant and settled in for a quick nap while he waited for new quests to be posted. --- OOC: Back from a bit of an absence. Just wanted to post so my character doesn't get "deleted." Now I have to catch up on all the changes!

[COR-FB5] The Valkyrie of Corrington
Comrade Commander replied to CelesAurivern's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice ship! As mentioned previously, the first shot is very dynamic. I also like the figurehead, though while it is a nice lot of characters for the crew it looks a bit crowded.... +1 from me! -

+1 from me! I like how the overall design is with the bright colors and such. To be honest, I think the flower pots would look better under bright open windows, but that might just be me- 18 replies

The Novitius (Class 2 WR - Sloop) *The Ship* *The Crew* *Story* As part of Darksten's smuggling fleet, "The Novitius" is tasked with getting needed supplies in and out of difficult situations. Armed with enough armament to keep competition away, and moderate speed the boat hopes to make a large profit in the new world. Though owned by Darksten, the Captain prefers to keep his hands out of the day to day "business operations," instead leaving the ship in the capable hands of one of his other captains. --- (This is the first ship of this type I built and while I know it is not as good as the others on here, I am a bit proud! Any feedback/comments/etc are appreciated. Looking forward to seeing it on the open seas!) EDIT: Forgot to add a shot of the back of the ship, so I quickly took one and posted it. Thus the even worse photography for that one picture

Sea Rats: Sign-up and Discussion
Comrade Commander replied to Darkdragon's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Comrade Captain Darksten A former Corrington loyalist, Darksten has deep ties to his homeland but prefers to operate outside of the "royal influence." As the leader of a smuggling operation, Darksten has made a fair amount of fame and fortune for himself but continues to seek new ways to grow his business portfolio. He prefers to keep his hands clean, using middle men and others to do any dirty work, but will not shrink from a fight when challenged. Darksten views himself a gentleman first, and a pirate second. -

Heroica RPG - Fourth Anniversary Lottery
Comrade Commander replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Darksten bursts back into the hall after having previously left without much fanfare. He was much to busy tending to his home village to be able to quest, but the offer of free loot was too good to pass. Darksten knew that one never knows quite when they might need it on a future quest, and the assassin certainly wasn't giving up on getting back out with his fellow heroes... Darksten signs up for the lottery -
Darksten walked into the hall, ignoring the quest board for once, and scanned the room's occupants. Once he ID'd his party leader from the fields he walked up to her, hoping to make a quick profit. "Excuse me Ma'am. I saw you eying my guitar when we were at the fields. Perhaps I could interest you in making a deal? For 650 gold I will give you the guitar and even throw in this song if you want..."
