  1. Are there any pictures of this set? I saw a few in the past but I don't know if that were the actual ones of the upcoming set. I'll buy it if it looks nice. :-)
  2. Nooo! That is too funny :-D :-D X-D Come on, it's only 3462 miles.....
  3. Nice find this bee, I like the use of the harpoon as stinging device (don't know the correct word for it) on the back. I myself was amazed by this guys furniture: making chairs out of books and suitcases. He (or she?) should join Eurobricks.
  4. Hmmm.... good point, good point..... :-P
  5. Great find! Why would it not be historically accurate? Lots of castles in Europe today survived through all timeperiods after they were built. So the castles we see today are not historically accurate for our own (present) time, maybe that also was the point in the 1600/1700 period. It is known that over the years respective owners of castles changed their habitat to adapt the buildings to have it live up to their standards. In 1600/1700 people did that as well. After all: what is the use in demolishing a good strong fortification if it can last another hundred years?
  6. Public transportation is taking a whole new turn in my town from now on, because I bought my first train! It was a real bargain: The Metroliner 4558 with tracks, the railwaycrossing 4539, the maintenance truck 4546 and a speedregulator 4548. All together for just 75 euros! Go Marktplaats! *sweet*
  7. Yeehaa! I'm the first voter here, so the 6267 gets..... 100% of the votes! :-D
  8. Hello Wout! Good to see another Dutchman around the forums, our population is growing! I'm sure you'll have a great time here :-) Sir NO Sir! :-D
  9. Yet another town fan, and yet another student! Wow, your study is "quite a mouthful" as we like to say here in Holland. I'm a criminology student by the way. Welcome, I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here (lots of firefighting equipment among our members MOC's ;-) ) :-)
  10. Wow! That looks great, I'm off to Berlin :-) the advantages of having a Legoland indoors is that the colours of the models will stay intact much longer and that there will be no closings during the winter.
  11. Welcome to Eurobricks Rayden. 50 baseplates is a lot... that must be a great city when it's finished! Since you live in Belgium you must have heard about the Legoworld event in The Netherlands every year in october in Zwolle. It has been inspirational for me in the past so I can recommend it. Some big city's there. I am sure you will enjoy Eurobricks :-)
  12. I like it: the newspaper lady misspelled the word AFOL and you misspelled the word misspelled :-D Nice MOC
  13. Great game! That must have been a hell of a lot of work. The music is also very nice. I have never played the real game but many games like it, and it always was a lot of fun.
  14. I thought that by reaching a number of 300 posts one would become a different rank, like fellow, but after reading this thread again it seems you have to have at least 500 posts before it changes again (to Count?) :-(
  15. I really like the model but I wouldn't spend fifteen dollars on the instructions, one can always look at the pictures... Nice you made them available, though.
  16. On my favourite Dutch digital marketplace I bought set number 1772 today off somebody who didn't know about the rarity of this set. Doesn't bother me.... >:-)
  17. While browsing this thread I found out that I hadn't been posting here about this great ship. I voted 5/5, this is a true classic and if you don't own this ship: shame on you!! It may look a bit strange, with that high main mast and shorter back mast, but when you have this ship on display it looks just right. And extra sail is easily fixed in the 6280 way. My favourite viewingpoint is the back of the ship with the two windows and the main mast towering behind them. I was extremely lucky to find this ship brandnew in the back of a German toystore in the city of Pruem a few years ago. I love Germany! My copy still looks fresh and the sails are just as crisp as lego intended them in 1989. *y*
  18. I just bought the Greatest Hits from Sailor, remember the hit "Traffic Jam"? Probably not, but it's great music!
  19. This is turning out great, I think the walls are just great now, being raised and all. Sir Dillon is right about the flag, it will look better hanging above the door, but when you first attached the flag there wasn't any room above the door because of the second floor.... Keep constructing! *y*
  20. So... investing in the enemy, aren't we admiral.....? |-/ No seriously, great find and you did'nt even had to go to the fleamarket yourself! :'-)
  21. This captures the castle feel in all it's classic ways! Great job. I especially like the sort of trampled terrain where the knights meet each other and try to push one another out of the saddle. Like mentioned before: the armour from the ninja's series look just right. It reminds me of building my forest hideout 6054 that I bought MISB last year somewehere in Germany...
  22. Happy birthday! "...Sing us a song, your the pianoman...."
  23. Thanks for the explanation, 27 years old.... man.... your set is in great condition for that age! (Only the rubberbands on the wheels are showing the same cracks like most paintings from Rembrandt from the Golden Age do.. :-D ) :-)
  24. I like this temple, very smart use indeed of those raised baseplates. It looks good in the Islander-Index. The looks of the temple are great, except that I would have made it a bit higher to get it more upto the same proportions of the minifigs. *sweet*
  25. I have often wondered why this set is so extremely (and I mean extremely!) expensive. It starts off on bricklink for about 275 dollars, up to a massive 3000! 8-
