Hey, looks good, but Polish is not among the four languages I can speak and write....

V-LF-6E Hey Casewindu! Nice idea of making a poll about cityvehicles, I herewith submit my entry: my eightwide ambulance: (Images clickable) The Brickshelf folder I hope it'll make it to the poll.

Very nice MOC, I like the use of that giant bath-tub in the background!

Introducing Cutlass Cole and his creation!
simonwillems replied to Cutlass Cole's topic in Pirate MOCs
Welcome Cutlass Cole to our friendly forum! *sweet* -
Indeed it is! I see you have the 6289/6290 pirateship in your avatar, did you modify that as well?

Thanks! It is in fact not based on a real car or model, like I wrote I was just experimenting a little and it became this red "lowrider". Because it's seven wide but has the basic suspension-axels I had to use many, many jumperbricks to make a two wide base in the middle for the axels, but it was nice working on a model that was this small but very complex.

Some guy named OBi Juan Kenobi made a brickshelf folder of the Lord of the Rings (the second most popular folder on the whole of Brickshelf and really worth viewing!), he made the dwarf Gimli with the Hagrid hair piece: Brickshelf folder

V-LV-08B Hello my fellow Eurobrickers! A while ago I started to do some experimenting with cars in more than four-wide for my town. I made a few cars in six wide with SNOT-techniques and this red one in seven-wide. I will post some pictures of the other two cars in a few days (they are in my parents house and I am not..) It is not possible to seat any minfigures inside, but I made some real working suspension. When the car is pushed down the wheels ar covered. with those wonderful suspension axles lego produced years ago it's a perfect fit. Click the images to enlarge and tell me what you think. Nicely detailed busy streets, the stickeruse adds to the realistic feeling this little city has. Good work! Can you post some pictures with an overview of the entire scene/layout? :-)

Great little square you have made there! I especially like the use of the logpieces in the "Fachwerkhaus" (don't know the English word for it at the moment...) The tree forms a lovely centerpiece with the bench around it. Well Mister Phes, I didn't know your lego-collection was that limited, not even having those 7 or 8 roof pieces... :-D

My favourite quote comes from the former British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill, he said it in the second world war after the RAF had secured the British airspace in the Battle of Britain, in doing so avoiding the Nazi invasion: Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.

Praxis forever! *y* Expensive cabinets but indestructable.

When I was on a cycletrip to Rome I found in the Italian Appennines the 6380 Hospital two years ago, new in box for 30 euros!

I like the contrasts in the Pirateforums, we tend to discuss HUGE ships, ships in which this little MOC can be put in the captainscabin-cabinet.... But I like it nonetheless :-$

Welcome to the forum! Since I live in Europe I don't know a good Canadian store, but one can always try Ebay... Good luck! -

Hey Nick, welcome to our lovely little forum, I am sure you will enjoy your time here perhaps this one?

The level of detail in your model is absolutely stunning! Great work with the 1x2 pieces used to give the walls inside the "maidensroom" that old and weary look. Carry On! *wub*

Happy Birthday to you! ;-)

I have those ruins! *sweet* Never thought of using that big boat as a rowing boat for my pirates/soldiers, I'm sure one can fit lots more minifigs in there than in a small average rowing boat!

Wow, never counted my pieces that precise, but I own some 500 sets, so about 100.000 pieces... I sorted by shape and some pieces by color and shape. Not all my pieces are sorted, I have lots of build-up models, and I stored away lots and lots of models in plastic zip-locks. But still it took me many weeks to sort all my lego's (apart from really big parts like wings, ships hulls etc.) in a drawer system. It took some time, but it makes searching easier (only up to the point when you have so many drawers you don't know in which one you put it though... :-/ ) Click the images to enlarge:

Grey colours? The original Eiffel Tower is brown (last time I was in Paris it was). I like the idea of having a Lego Eiffel Tower though, I hope it's not too expensive however.

5978 Sphinx Secret Surprise Review
simonwillems replied to alex54's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I own almost every set the of the Adventurers theme and this is my absolute favourite! It was quite an expensive set to buy back in 1998 but worth every penny... Thanks for a great review. -
