Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young - Our House *wub*

That looks like a good way of putting the Black Seas Baraccuda into service! It looks great lengthened by one extra midsection. I love the flags and the captainscoat. *y*

Take a look at this beautifully detailed city I found on Brickshelf with half-timbered houses, great station and some wonderful other houses. *wub* This guy put a lot of effort into his city to make it look this nice. The thumbnail is a link to the gallery.

Lush? 8-| According to my dictionary lush means something like tender/soft/mellow. Meat can be like that when it's of good quality. But Lego?? Anyway, nice pictures! *y*

Happy birthday all the way from Holland! *sweet*

Nicely detailed little building, with realistic features (no bagage-trikes or that kind of stupid things...) I'll buy it when it's not too expensive, although my city lacks any trains, the monorail will do just fine. :-)

Nice ship, I like the colour-scheme and the way it's made with those sixwide hullpieces. The cannons are way to big, one "broadside" and the ship will turn over completely... *sweet*

I don't think the Lego Group is going to provide us with African tribes in combination with colonial armies because of the history of slavery. A lot of people (and nations) still feel the guilt and the pain of this past. Lego is not going to rip these wounds open again. So yes, if we want to have African scenes we will have to make them ourselves. Some other good minifig torso's are perhaps those from the adventurers series, although more suitable for world war one soldiers, but also for some colonial armies.

Welcome Lluis to our forum, you will have a great time here I'm sure. :-)

No offense there, it just caught my eye. That forestman-crossing is a great set and I am sure it feels great having it in your collection. :-)

Nice plane, but strange stretcher, I wonder if it goes in completely or without the big undercarriage. It looks like the entire backside of the plane can be flipped up to install the stretcher (Or is that not a hinge I see right behind the cockpit roof?).

This is wonderful!! Best city set in many, many years!! *wub* *wub* I hope this is not some kind of Shop at Home exclusive or something.... I'll buy this one. :-)

Something like it (Buick or Chevrolet), at least from the same time period. I'm a big fan of really big American cars from the late fifties with lots of chrome and fins. Thanks for the compliments! Super cars are different, and very hard to do because of the round shapes and arodynamics, I tried building a Ferrari F40 once but it didn't turn out quite well. The classic American cars are somewhat more blocky and can be made more realistic out of Lego than a supercar. Especially in twelve wide (like my avatar) but also in six wide. I am impressed though by the "Cool Cars" set Lego brought out and with the newer pieces available maybe I try the ultimate supercar one day...

They are cheap now, but in eight days when the auction ends, they'll be just as expensive as everything else on ebay (especially now that you informed the entire world about this *sweet* )

I got my ebay-order of 10 light gray spindled fences today. I will try to build a fire-engine-ladder with it in a couple of weeks.

Though it was tempting to vote for myself... I voted for Paul Delahayes Gritter lorry. *sweet*

Your chance to own a 6250 Cross Bones Clipper
simonwillems replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
This little ship certainly isn't the best looking Lego vessel that ever sailed the seven seas, but I need it desperately! It is the only ship I need to complete the serie of all 8 pirateships Lego produced in the good years (between 1989 and 1997). Too bad it was not available in Europe (still isn't, not even on Bricklink), paying all the shipping costs and customsfees USA charges is not worth the effort, besides I don't have a creditcard. So if anybody in Europe wants to sell me this set (because you all hate it, right?) I'll be happy to buy it! *sweet* -
Happy fourteenth (?) anniversary Mr. Norrington! *sweet*

Seeing this great little layout reminds me to put some life again in my own adventure collection and make a layout myself some day soon. What a great serie it is, I am glad I bought the complete collection back in 1998. Nice background too, I think the rubberbands on your hot-air-balloon didn't survive those 9 years though... :-)

I love that grabtruck! It has my vote! *wub*

I must admit that the cab is not my own design, it was placed on brickshelf before by someone else and I used it as inspiration for the policecar and the red car. :-)

Model Team Black Hot Rod
simonwillems replied to Pawel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This car is really beautiful Pawel! I like the way you made the headlights. Carry on! *wub* -
Isn't that one of our very own Eurobricks members buying the forestman-crossing for that substantial amount of money?

Updated: I placed two more cars like this (but in six wide) in the same Brickshelf folder

This set has more details than I thought it had at first glance, I like the way the garage is connected to the rest of the house by means of that grey door. Thanks for the review.
