    The one thing that saddens me is that I feel we won't be seeing big sets like Rock Island Refuge, Eldorado Fortress, Imperial Trading Outpost and the like any more. I can see that the gist is there in playability, but it's just not the same feel. Not sure why -- maybe nostalgia? I know you can buy multiples and MOC whatever you want, the size you want -- especially us, AFOLs, but I don't know. How cool it is to open a big box of Lego and build this large, massive fortress? In a way, I guess that's how modulars make me feel. I'd set for "regular" big sets like Eldorado Fortress, Imperial Trading Post and the like, and I hope we get a big, massive "so long, farewell, au revoir, auf wiedersehen, adieu" set like Kingdoms Joust.

    I'm not really a purist when the subject is playmats, so I'd love to see Lego release a playmat like this one. Town Square is definitely one of my favorite sets this year! EDIT: Forgot to thank you for compiling the images, Thank you!

    Thanks a lot for this great review! As awesome as some modern sets are -- and they really are! --, the vitage/old sets are pure magic to me.

    I guess they may be coming to an end. I don't know anything sales-wise, but there are less and less set-wise.

    One of the things that strikes me the most about the modulars is how Lego has NOT (YET?) released a modular Police Station. When the Fire Brigade came out it was just... Obvious... That there was going to be one (and it's a great one!).

    IMHO, the highlight of this line are the minifigs. The ship looks nice but not great, and the other sets look just meh. My fave is the Junior set.
