So the latest road plates are from 2005... That's 2 years short of 10. A long time for Lego, I'm sure. As I've been buying multiples -- and they are quite expensive down here in Brazil (BRA 65 or +/- USD 20 for a set) -- I get a little afarid of Lego releasing new road plates anytime soon. I'm fond of the current road plates. Both in color and design. I'd like a couple of green road plates, but that's nothing that you can't do yourself with some green plates or whatever. Do you guys think new road plates are "about to happen"?

It looks better and better, LT! K-e-e-p-o-n-b-r-i-c-k-i-n-g!

Thanks for the review. I like this figure, although I'm not really fond of the armor-like uniforms they put in the film.

Checked EB... Wished I had time to rebuild my GE (especially now that I found the instructions!)... Took some time to check on the latest design of my town... Checked EB again!

I really like it!

Thanks for the review! Another great Friends set. Has anyone put any Friends sets in their "regular" Lego towns? What does it look like? Any links or pics?

Hi there! I have a question about the Lego Star Wars magnets: Are the minifigs like regular minifigs but with some interior magnet, are they regular minifigs but "glued" to a brick with a magnet or...? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the review! A pity this set is so lame.

So here is my new Post Office. I decided to change the colors and make it a little bit smaller, like an official Lego set (using a plate 8x16). Front (with mailbox in front of the window) Front (without the mailbox). Right side. Back and interior. Interior shot (left). Interior shot (right). Left side (exterior). I imagine a couple of stickers in this set, especially in the side walls and the "flag" (something like the horns from 10222 Winter Village Post Office): The pics are from Silent Mode's 10222 review (you can find it here -- thanks for the review and the pics, man!). The inspiration for the sand green comes from UK's post offices (you can find some images which I can't seem to be able to post in here). I believe a nice "Post Office" sticker (in white) would look nice with the sand green background. Comments and suggestions are not only welcomed as always, but also appreciated.

I know it's not common Lego practice, but what about light bulbs or something along those lines? Even a "glass-giant" needs some light when the night comes and people are working late -- and there seems to be enough room for that.

Your guys are working fast, LT! It seems there will be a billboard in the first floor, is it not? Will the upper floors have oofices? It's looking good. You got me curious ;)

Wow, truly impressive! That's not LDD, is it?

Wow, very nice! It looks so real! The leaves are a great touch.

Computer tech just fixed the computer in the Post Office. Thanks for the tip, timmyc1983!

I have to say the Mail Carrier is also my favorite... I love them all, but that is the one that brings the warmer feelings to my heart. It makes me fell like a kid again And here we have the Mail Delivery Car with the new (smaller) wheels. I think it looks better. Front. Right side. Back. Left back. Left front. And here is the Mail Delivery Van with smaller wheels. Front. Right side. Left back. And left front. I'm not sure if this model works that well with the smaller wheels. Maybe I'll keep it like that and build a bigger Mail Delivery Truck to go with this year's "big trucks". What do you think?
-
The last "set" is also a promo: A simple Mail Carrier! Front. Back right. Back left. Front left. So this is my city's new mail delivery team. I'm still thinking about adding a plane to the "line", and maybe a small, "promo" boat (or a kayak? ). I know stickers (or maybe printed parts, yay!) would be great, so I'll try to get them for the real thing. And lightningtiger, in as much as I'd love a building contest, I'm still lightyears away from your bulding awesomeness! 'Still have to practice! Thanks for the kind comments, lightningtiger. I was posting and uploading while you were commenting, so I didn't see your new comments till now. I'll give it a try with some smaller wheels. Check it out later . As always, thanks for the comments and suggestions.

On to the next installment: The Mail Delivery Motorcycle (2013). Front. Right side. Back. Left back. Left front. And now the Mail Delivery Van (2013) for those big Lego boxes... Front. Right side. Right back. Back. Left back. Left front.

Thanks for your kind words, timmyc1983 and lightningtiger! I was browsing ebay for Lego when I found these nice looking mail sets from the past -- old but gold. So I had to give it a shot I guess this is time for an update. So here is the new and improved Post Office. I know it's got too many parts for a set this size (TLG would probably cut the bicycle and one or two of the mail boxes). But anyway, here it is. Post Office (2013): Front. Right Side. Back and interior. Left interior wall. Right interior side. Left exterior side. And here is the Mail Delivery Car (2013). Mail Delivery Car -- Front. Right side. Back. Left side. Front left.

Hi there! So after years as an EB member, here is my very first LDD MOC (yeah, I finally learnt how to use LDD properly... ). It's is a Post Office based on 6689 Post Station (from 1985) and 6362 Post Office (from 1982). 7848 Toys 'R Us City Truck is another huge inspiration for this MOC. As I imagine it, the final Post Office will have a couple of stickers (those cool horn ones like the ones from 10222 Winter Village Post Office): 1 for each exterior side wall, one for the mailbox and another one for the spot just above the door. This is just the first one in a series of "Mail" MOCs I'm doing. Comments and suggestions are welcome! Here is the front. The back. The interior (left). And the interior (right). I've played with a couple of other builds, like some finish for the roof, but I like the way it is in the pics. I hope you like it! As I said, comments and suggestions are welcome!

Thanks, Si-MOCs!

Hi there! I wanted to check a Classic Space set, but I couldn't find the review index...

Nice points in favor of a re-release of those older Modular sets and also some good points against it. The one point that really makes me believe Lego won't re-release sets like Cafe Corner, Market Street and the Green Gorcer is the one that says: "Would you rather have new Modular sets and designs or would you rather have older sets re-released?" I'd love to get those older sets, but if I had to choose, I guess i'd go with new ones. I believe it's just better overall. But that doesn't make me any happier abou those older sets *sigh*
