  1. You are welcome! Do yourself a favor and don't get anywhere near Forbidden Planet or Orbital Comics! I try... But I just can't! Ok, I don't even try anymore
  2. That's it, that's the Falcon. He's was one of Captain America's sidekicks but he's raised to be part of the Avengers.
  3. Hi there! Just passing by to share this: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/08/12/18-lego-marvel-variants-and-the-originals-they-are-parodying/ I know many people like superheroes, although not many are really that into comic books. So in the link above you will find 18 Lego posters and the original comic books which inspired them. Enjoy! PS.: I've read most of the comics in the link above and I got to say that if you like good stories, look for some of them.
  4. Sometimes I like to surf around the net looking for toys from my childhood. I'm usually around Lego, GIJoe and Playmobil, which are my faves (with the occasional stop at Transformers and Masters of the Universe). Recently (just yesterday, to be true) I stumbled across the new Playmobil website. So I decided to check the sets there. I went for Western, which is the one Playmobil theme I really love, but then I decided to check the other themes as well. The one I checked first was Knights (Castle/Kingdoms in Lego-speech). And I have to say I'm impressed. I don't know if I was looking at a new faction or not, but Playmobil has this very nice Lion knights. I was really surprised by the colours and heraldry of these guys. The colours and heraldry were the first things to strike me, but the weapons, armours and overall sets are really nice too. I'm not sure if it's me, but Playmobil Knights look a little more realistic than their Lego counterparts (I'm talking about weapons, armour and gear general appearance, not colours or heraldry). I'm not saying that they are better, but they are just as nice, I guess. I don't know if any of you guys is into Playmobil too, but if you like the Dark Ages, castles, kingdoms and the like, I think it's worth checking Playmobil. Also, Playmobil sets are great to use as models for your own Castle MOCs (check thecivilian buildings!). Here are some links: * Yellow Lion Knight Leader; * Yellow Lion Knights; * Lion Knights Troop. There are castles, houses and other sets for the Lion Knights and for the other factions too -- civilians included. you can check the whole theme by clicking in here.
  5. Wow, very nice! Thanks for posting!
  6. Thanks for the links and pics guys. Am I right to say that the CMF is one of the -- if not THE -- best Lego line ever?
  7. Wow, awesome! I love your city! Thanks for the tour!
  8. Looking great, LT! Keep NM growing! and the pics coming!
  9. Thanks for the review!
  10. Wow, that's nice! How expensive are the raw-materials?
  11. Besides the sets you had the opportunity to buy, for having already come out of your dark ages, but you regret you didn't, are there any sets you have let pass that you wish you should have bought? I bought my Grand Emporium on ebay for a great price, but I didn't buy a Gren Grocer from the same seller -- also for a great price -- because when I got the GE it was missing pieces and he wouldn't aknowledge it. Nowadays I regret I didn't do it, because it would have been very easy to bricklink any missing parts AND I would have a GG...
  12. Thanks a lot for the review! I'm in love with this set! I think it's one of the best -- if not THE best -- helicopters of the past few years.
  13. Wow, this is stunning! You make me hope Lego will release "smaller" modulars so we can get sets like this!
  14. It looks really cool!
  15. Now that's a feature I've never ever used in any forum before -- I didn't even remember it was there. But thanks for the heads up! And thanks for the answer too. EDUT: I just edited my previous post.
  16. Wow, it looks amazing! I love the trees, flowers and all the flora (I bet there's some fauna there that elluded my eyes)! The green river and lake are really cool! There are so many colors that your MOC looks truly alive -- and alien! A real alien planet! The technique is also great -- from the "grey aliens" on the run to the geography, flora and overall design. I love it!
  17. Thanks for the review! Another great 2013 Town set! I love the Coast Guard line. The boat, the 4x4, the minifigs, the design, the colors... Everything screams "Cool!" about it!
  18. Man of Steel is yet to open in Brazil, but from comments around the web, I'm very worried about one thing near the end. I'd really like for someone who watched the movie to PM me saying if it actually happens or not. No, I don't mind the spoiler. But for those who do, here goes the spoiler banner before I ask my question.
  19. Thanks for the review! I love this set. I want multiples!
  20. Wow, what an incredible school bus! Amazing MOC!
  21. It looks very good!
  22. Oh, my! I can feel your frustration!
  23. I think the 2005 road plates sets (straight & X-roads, curve & T-junction) is the best way for Lego. Although the straight road plates sell themselves, I don't think the t-junctions and curves sell as much. Hence they are packed with straight road plates (and as many people have said, you can adapt T-junctions and X-roads to your needs). But I do hope Lego won't end this 2 sets for another decade; my town is based on those!
  24. Thanks for the review. It's another beautiful set -- and there's a lot that can be done with multiples.
