  1. I am building a Caterpillar 990 and you can see that the size would be smaller, being a 994 the final dimensions would be even smaller because that machine has bigger wheels in proportion.
  2. Awesome range for its size, it is a beautiful MOC congratulations.
  3. I tried to build it years ago in fact it was my first decent MOC. I don´t like mine and I think that you have done it better but I don´t like too much, I don´t know if it is the MOC or maybe I don´t like the real one .
  4. This is what I call a lucky dramatic error. I had almost everything done and tested but I dicovered something... a geometric error in the structure of the front part, I built a 8x8 studs triangle... . I had to began again... the structure, the arm and the movement... but I was lucky, searching for a decent arm I found the father of the sturdy arms so a happy error.
  5. I have the same impression but I hope that the review shows us that we are wrong, although I doubt it .
  6. you are right first of all are the tyres to know the scale and the measures.
  7. Damn I wanted to see the forklift first but still are good news.
  8. I only hate their lack of precision, they are just perfect for a dumper's bed, and how hard it is to put the tubes in compact MOCs, we can say that I love them less than LAs.
  9. Things that I am not able to do and they fascinate me: GBCs, clocks and awesome C model MOCs like this.
  10. Good point, me too and I can say that I have done the same with my drawings all my life. I draw from the detail to the main if I do superheros or cartoons I begin from the eyes if I do vehicles from the wheels. Sometimes I lost time making compact mechanisms that the scale did not need but at least it is something that you learn for another MOCs, building small is never bad.
  11. What I really hate are the wheels but the pneumatics too by the way .
  12. I think I miss 2 posts but I guess they were off-topic. Somedays you see a good idea and you are able to build what you need very fast so thank you to Thirdwigg for his idea of the links in the cabin. With doors, strong enough and removing two axles you can take it.
  13. Congratulations even if you do not have Russian support .
  14. 2 wheel loaders at first page it is rare . Three modules separable by axles, back part with autovalves, central part with steering and drive and front part with the arm with one segment of tubes on each one so that it is not a nightmare to change something. I reinforced the autovalve to improve its efficiency and I still have to do the most difficult part for me the cabin... I try to use the fewest possible pieces and many have more than one function, I think I will be below 1000 pieces that is not bad for its size. I have to put it now because Spain is going to play and I have to drink a little to calm down, Spain playing is the only thing that stresses me in the world... Pneumatic wheel loader test 2
  15. Pure Technic and I will not say what you know but I still hate them . First TLG pneumatic loaders are almost impossible to beat but this is a good contender.
  16. With that XL motor I would recomend you more robust axles take a look at this maybe it could give you some ideas. Tatra 2017
  17. I am delighted reading all this and it has reminded me of more things... for example the quality of my photography increased but for a couple of years it has been stagnant and even low level, there is no way I do not like that part of Lego. Although it is not part of the constructive process, I spend much more time looking for things that I can represent with dignity and I think that I have developed a sixth sense that when I build a part of a MOC, I do not know well why but I know that it can be done better, stronger or with fewer pieces.
  18. Just curiosity to know how we evolved. I started like everyone else, leaving the realism aside and piling pieces until the unwanted MOC . Later I tried to be more realistic in proportions, even too much, using the unnecessary amount of pieces and more . Now I can say that a stud more or less does not matter to me if the MOC is consistent and that 20 more pieces do not matter if the construction is more modular. My aesthetics are becoming more minimalist as the previous Technic, it's funny because I build thinking to make it easy for others to do and I still do not do instructions . What I can say that has remained constant is the search for functionality and maximum playability but never in exchange for fragility.
  19. And it seems that you can hit someone with this, small and strong .
  20. I know it I only explain the concept, I expent hours watching real Tatras and I think that they have the same small issue.
  21. Very nice car and even better in this scale.
  22. You never knows so I built it and you can see the result. One wheel to the left and another to the right when the suspension is not compressed, I think the steering never have to be affected for the suspension travel. I love Tatras and I have fought a lot against this problem.
