  1. For those interested in Fantasy Era 2.0. I keep forgetting to say, the new upcoming Ninjago 'draconian' minifigs look like a great augmentation to your Nexo lava monster army.
  2. But... Christmas and Easter sets have never had anything remotely to do with Jesus Christ or Christianity. Nothing 'religious' has been depicted whatsoever. Coloured eggs, pointy trees, fat man in a red suit, yes. That stuff isn't "religion in toys". The Chinese stuff might be a different matter. NINJA'D!!!
  3. Again, the ship looks good. But now I see that there are THREE new unique (neo-futuron) torsos to this set. Very disappointing. Would've been nicer to have had them in the earlier sets too. But I do like the way that the previous minfigs all had the same torso with different arm colours. It allowed you to make your own additional factions easily. These new ones aren't so easy to recolour.
  4. I will have to see it to decide whether I would be interested or not. If the balrog is somewhat to system scale, I shall not pass. But if it's 100% some art piece, I don't have room for all the Lego I already have and I WILL pass, thank-you Gandalf. I still haven't made it around to buying Barad-Dur. (I passed on Rivendell besides)
  5. Olive head from 'Marvel Logo' Hulk for orc armies. Might be expensive though.
  6. 100% there is no way all those unique beard pieces can be brought back for 1 set. How many slots ("changes") does a set get? Nowhere near enough.
  7. Rumble the cartoon, or Frenzy the toy. The blue one!
  8. Good, that was the better castle & wolf submission. They had to make ONE of them (there were so many!), after passing on all of them last time.
  9. Correct decision. If there are tapes, it's possible they won't be transformable at that size. I'd rather have compromise on the tapes than on Soundwave. But Laserbeak, Frenzy & Ravage would be the ones we'd need made!
  10. Score: 3/10 - for the torsos & matching legs. Fail.
  11. Great. More exclusive minifig prints. Interesting ship, though.
  12. I see 3 distinct shades there. Top left although looking different, is likely the same 'colour' as the bottom, but the top right might be something else. What though? They're probably all the same Lego colour. Especially if as you say the bottom is "bright light yellow".
  13. and vintage compatible minifigs (back printing notwithstanding)
  14. I still haven't seen the D&D ones yet. On the plus side, the QR codes are all in the apps by the time I get to them, so there's no buying blind required.
  15. Renegade is my least-favoured option due to its awkward assymetry. I'll take anything Blacktron 1 or 2 however. Also, slightly less parts than the Classic ship so I think the Renegade might be a bit underwhelming if that's what it is.
  16. Can't wait for all the John Wick sets to come out, since half of them don't even blink when they get shot in those movies
  17. This is a really cool vehicle.
  18. I don't think there'll be a castle for the Falcons, not after the Bricklink one earlier this year.
  19. If you haven't opened them, most retail places accept returns (with a receipt) without problem. I think they can't really say no in this situation, you haven't soiled their goods or anything. But then good luck walking straight back over to buy more. If it was me, I wouldn't even take them home first, I'd just scan them in the car and immediately go back inside to return what I didn't want. Do round 2 another day.
  20. I thought SP2 was incredible. Particularly the capital ship... Also, the Star Hawk II is the sleekest of the old spaceships! But agreed about the Deep Freeze Defender, the rear section is a great big square box that doesn't fit nicely with the rest of the ship and its sleekness, no matter what configuration you use.
  21. Shiiiiiirrreeee???? Bagginnnsssssssss???
  22. Following the links from Bricklink, I got sent to the American page even though I'd logged in already... eventually had to manually type the local one in to get to the correct cart page. Then it tried to tell me my home address doesn't exist, wanted to use one from 3 years ago, and I had to over-ride the form twice. Then in the summary, it listed the wrong email address for my account and I couldn't change it. Seems to have gone through. Why is this a mess every time though?
  23. Its LEGO, nothing is written in stone. You can always design your own 'backwalls' to close the set up, and populate it with the soldiers of another fief. Correct. It's a good starting point parts-pack
