    It's listed on S@H as retiring soon. I think it flopped, it's only about 9 months old.

    Most people are going to be disappointed in some way. It will either be too small, wrong shape, wrong colours or prints, not enough generic minifigs (army build), not enough secondary character minifigs, inadequate versions of hero minifigs, or too many stickers/prints. And it will also cost more than people would like to pay! Personally, all I want is official minifigs of not-seen-before characters, and to get a decent number of soldiers without having to sell the family as slaves to afford it.

    Fact: Dave Filoni is going to keep bringing back characters he likes, again and again. Deal with it.

    I finally ordered Barad Dur, I noticed that it (and Rivendell+Shire) had 2x points.

    I haven't ordered it yet. It mustn't be as popular in the UK! I've only ever seen "back order" every time I go to the Lego website, ever since launch. I picked up some Missing Link figures in the mean-time, but this set is higher on my priority list.

    Last I heard, it IS a movie about Aragorn and the rangers. They are trying to FIND Gollum.

    Or they can do things that aren't stupid gimmicks. Already this is 3 series in a row I probably will be saving my wallet completely, so I won't complain either way.

    I watched the 30-second video. When the scene-change music played, I was super stoked by that. Hoping for a few Frank Welker vocoder lines from the TV show, along with the obvious one from the movie.

    Soundwave looks excellent, tapes are a bit square but look good in that mode, not sure about their 'robot' mode yet. Would've been funny if the mini Soundwave fit inside the tape player.

    Kids like race cars though, and they are warming the shelves right now. Most likely it would be out of the question for the same reasons as a battle-pack.

    Browse Reddit. Lego news/rumours/leaks or such (we are not allowed to link to things like leaks). I didn't see it on any Transformers sites I checked afterwards.

    Info is out. A bit smaller than I would've liked, my reasoning being that the larger he is, the larger and less pixel-y the tapes would be. So I can only hope that they still look convincing in both modes. I did a double-take, when it said that he includes "a blaster" - that was not a good choice of words! '(hand-)cannon' would've been more appropriate.

    I feel that those images made the 'world' more immersive. More fuel for the imagination. Even Town (as it was called back then) looked interesting in those old catalogues.

    You're not the only one! Once upon a time this was the case. But the set it would replace on shelves had 3 factions in it (never been done before?), so it's possible!

    I always consider that to be an accidental mistake, like a movie continuity error. I swapped that shield out for a green one straight away.

    Been waiting for black knights to return... I keep voting for the ones on Bricklink and they never get picked. Hopefully a proper castle comes out next year, this boat can accompany it...
