I say this every time, but this is one I might pick up even though it doesn't really appeal to me that much as a set initially. So far I've only skipped one such Ideas set. I'm glad this one passed review.

Great, so now whenever there's a legit "rumour" from a trusted source we don't know if it's what it is or just a codename?

Correct, I should have made it harder! Your turn

Can't remember if this one's been used or not:

Here's one to try: edit: you are on the ball!

I think they're there, but not advertised on the site. If you add items to your bag the VIP points earned are twice what they would normally be? -
If it had a shell covering one half, and the set interior was on a carousel, you could see and access one side while the other has an exterior. Like a circular saw only has half exposed at a time and the rest of it is covered until it revolves around.

One of those man-part enlargement spams 100% partial opinions?!?

Simon Wells' take on The Time Machine (the Guy Pearce version, as nearly given away) Should probably read the book some time...

Holy crap, the spam was coming quicker than I could report it. Thanks to Shadows or Phred, that was crazy. (It wasn't an entertaining read this time, if anyone was interested)

That is all I deserve... If you have photoshop, there is a blur filter called "motion blur". I imagine that the GIMP has something similar. If you want to make one part of the image normal and blur the rest, you could select the area you want to remain normal, invert the selection and apply the filter. Or you could separate the image into layers and apply the filter on the appropriate layers. I don't know how to do it with other software, and I checked Flickr but Aviary doesn't have that type of function.

Toyworld catalogue has the chicken minifig with $50 of catalogue items, a few other savings most notably the Nexo Knights Fortrex for $100 -

Also the Tower of Orthanc had this set in it with little alteration: They came out at the same time, too.

Regarding those 3 castles, not so much hated, they are typically liked a lot less than the other castles. Not due to having open backs or a particular baseplate, but from a combination of the negatives in relying on raised baseplates, moving away from the more common castle shape (eg 80s-90s castles - castles since have reverted to the earlier shape) and if you build these castles you'll find there's not much to the build. (You could say the same thing of some older castles, but it seemed the combination of factors makes these 3 very low on the list of most loved.) I have all of the castles bar the yellow & 2006 sets, I like open & closed, raised & non-raised, old & new, and I rate these 3 similar castles down near the bottom of the pile, which seems to be the trend. I guess it's not such a big 'thing' since there are far more heinous crimes in the castle department, as evidenced by Dave

Image doesn't work edit: Ninja'd by 11 minutes? Weird.

There have been mentions of the time period and of KKII, but no one has specifically called out the 3 disappointing "modular" Disney-shaped raised baseplate castles:

Very cool. I think you should connect Technic axles as the control bars. You can then use the brick with the axle hole to attach the minifigs. I would try 2x2 round bricks on the axle for looks, but if they get in the way of the ball, use the axles only.

Much better episode. And now I need a temple guard minifig. Do you mean his looks? If so, I am 1 milion percent with you there. He looked horribly non-Yoda.

Music riddle - guess the bands/artists

Yeah but it's not as fun to say -
Well, I did buy the top set for my sister... heh heh. Duplo for my nephew, Friends for my niece and (lots of) Star Wars for me. I'm not surprised by 4 of the top 5 themes, but I never figured Duplo sold so much.
