Why are we seemingly deliberately promoting a project that the creator is trying to not promote?

Judging by the topic title and the movies mentioned I expected to have a completely different opinion. But all of the movies I've seen on that list you pretty much said how I felt about them, except for Avengers. I'm so over the "this sudden new enemy is bigger than anything we've ever seen before" & "let's pulverise an entire city" scenarios, so any redeeming qualities did not redeem. But the other 7 I've seen I pretty much agree.

It definitely looks like Sabine in the TIE set to me, if so that's okay on one condition: updated armour & helmet colours. If it's the same minifig as before, disappoint. Also, I imagine that the CTT has multiples of one of the clones and droids listed, not just one of each minifig. Surely?

The little ship that looks like it has Dengar appears to have Barris Offee as the other minifig (red sabre, blue hood). Could be Ventress?

Not if Mega***ks still has the licence. But it would be an awesome theme if we did, even just as a mild fantasy stop-gap for fans of traditional Castle while the ultra sci-fi fantasy stuff is happening.

I think a few of the "facts" regarding any TIE, A-Wing and minifigs included are from speculation or wishlists that have come around again. And those fake lists perhaps? Turns out it actually means both, but I've never heard it in the negative way myself. You probably got confused with "miffed"? That's what I would be if I missed that kind of price.

Maybe it isn't "A-Wing" but rather "a wing" so 2 separate sets with a (1) wing included in each...

Of those 9, most of the ones that aren't too big rely on licencing and could therefore easily fail anyway. Then there's the national park one which is far too region specific to have worldwide appeal.

If Vader is from Rebels, he will be stylised but not as much as TCW minifigs were. For the majority it will be unnoticeable.

The only reason I buy sets at standard retail price

I didn't say they were all about blowing up a death star, but it's a very obvious climax and major plot point to each movie. You'd think that they'd avoid doing that again after the 2nd time. Or the franchise will be renamed Death Star Wars. What do they think it is? Form Voltron and summon the blazing sword to beat monster of the week? Come on, we aren't 6 years old. I get that they wanted the new movies to be related to the OT, but Episode VII felt more like a remake & a reboot of Episode IV than a sequel to the franchise. I hope the next one isn't similar to Episode V. (Except that it is awesome, it can be similar in that way.) As an aside, I don't give a kreo about character evolution, I care about plot. And when the plot is shallow or too familiar that detracts from the story. Darth Vader could stay a sith forever for all I cared, just don't be predictable in how the story unfolds or give the same ending all the time. Like Episode III & V, they were a nice change. But don't just throw in plot twists for plot twists' sake (Mr Nolan).

Well, for all those who ignore the PT, you have 4 movies. 3 of which were about blowing up the death star. That's poor.
