I have moved on from the design style of the vintage days for Space sets to prefer the sleeker recent stuff, but I still like the colour schemes (especially trans colours) & minifigs of 80s -> early 90s. That is where most of the charm is for me. (But I don't like the chin-strap original helmet, the visored one was a huge improvement).

I'm probably only interested in Maleficent. Although, I wonder if the genie's hands are medium blue... I find it weird that Buzz has a normal head this time instead of a specialised one. I wonder if the genie's "hair" is detachable and useful as a feather in the newer helmets.

What's that from? It's got a few old Space moulds, that chunky one from Exploriens and the cockpit one. Gotta say I wouldn't want that as a set. That other image would definitely have been a really cool set.

Firstly, I am obviously in the minority because I found the last episode to be disappointing. I'm not sure if the trope has a name, but I've seen it more than I want to. I was all intrigued by this investigation into what happened on Geonosis, and instead I got lumped with a "misunderstood arch-enemy" bonding session for the rest of the show. Okay so it means that maybe Kallus is on a path to leaving the Imperials, or who knows, and that is interesting, but that doesn't make the episode itself interesting to me. So what happened on Geonosis? Well we know they were involved in creating battle droids, designing the Death Star, and that Palpatine doesn't like non-humans. Maybe he wanted to wipe them out to keep them quiet, and because they were beyond their usefulness to him. We already see in Rebels that the Empire is pretty much human or nothing.

We ought to keep in mind that AFOLs can view a theme in very poor light, but kids love it. I would say that this should be mostly about sets/themes that don't fit that. I absolutely agree on all of those I ever saw, especially Time Cruisers and any other slapped together mocbarf themes. But I didn't mind the Paradisa pink, just that it was girly and not for me. All of which was while I was not buying or paying attention to new sets (purchasing dark-age), so I have no idea on what any of that stuff looks like! Thank God, because I've browsed releases from that period and not been very keen on what I saw.

I like the minifig. Perfect to go with the Jakku sets, useful parts for fantasy castle or desert-based mocs. Of course, there are other characters we may have had otherwise that would've been more interesting or useful, but I'm not going to complain about some more "no names"
