  1. Looking good so far! Nettetal, (the one close to Venlo), Germany Wooha! I spent my holidays some years ago on Guernsey. Nice island! What village exactly?
  2. Well, it's 4th of April again... What means it's your birthday, Copmike! Have a wonderful day whith your loved ones! And - as always, we'll have a cold drink at our event later this year in Günzburg.
  3. I like the idea of swapfig! :-)

    1. SilentMode

Thank you... posting about here it is too risky, but feel free to spread the word.

  4. Good idea! If not the Google+ account was required... So it's a no-thanks for me, sorry.
  5. Correct! Pasing is mostly "on our way back" to Günzburg in the evening and close to the station as well. We are still negotiating something along our visit in the store... but shhhhh, don't tell anyone. No need at all to go to Riem Arcaden as well.
  6. Thanks for sharing your pedestal MOC, Legoman! In my opinion this is the best pedestal I have seen so far. I still haven't got the amount of bricks to build my own pedestal, but I'm sure your MOC will heavily inspire my version. Instructions?
  7. One reason more to attend to that event. Good news and surely an interesting spot to visit.
  8. I feel like an alien from another planet. I have no idea who Paul is. , but I believe he is the designer of the black car in the child's hands? Please tell me.
  9. Hi and welcome to EB! I don't live close to Wiesbaden, but in general Kaufhof and Karstadt are good places to look out for. Especially when they sell older sets (like "Dino" some weeks ago) for 40-60% off.
  10. Hello and welcome to Eurobricks, Balthasar! As you can see I'm from Germany as well, but it's not as cold in the west as it is in your place. *phew* Whenever you have questions around the board, you can drop me a PM. Enjoy your stay!
  11. Good news! You can still ask Mr. Linder from Kirchenbauerhof to be accomodated with us (my recommendation)! It's a really nice place and so we all can stay together.
  12. "... get the stabilizers out and in. The boom can be lowered and of course be lifted. The arm is extendable to a length of 70 cm. You can attach 200 g of weight to/on the cable winch, the weight can be lowered and risen by PF. The 5-axle-style is new, four of these are gradually steered (if this is the right translation ), meaning every axle is moving in a different angle resulting in a realistic and precise driving pleasure. Whilst driving the pistions of the V8 motor move up and down to underline the realistic appearance." All in all no really new facts that couldn't be found out by watching the movie without sound.
  13. Nice work and definitely an improvement to the original! Thanks for sharing it here.
  14. Well done review for a definite "on-my-list" set. I am waiting for the first photos of an AFOL to convert the 8043 into the claw digger.
  15. Hi Luc! What an awesome MOC! But as well as I like it, I don't think it has a single chance to be made as a real product. Don't get me wrong: It is a brilliant MOC and for that I love it, but Lego has to think about joy of building, safety of building and running the model and last but not least the cost of a model like this. So what I want to say is: Don't expect too much from Cuusoo.
  16. I can confirm that! The last two events in Günzburg, Kim and Morten came by plane to Stuttgart and I picked them up on my way (by car) to Günzburg. Depending on when you would arrive I offer this opportunity to you as well.
  17. That's bad, but that's what's happening previous to any event. You'll miss us! So could you please tell us, if you are willing to share a room with one of the other eventees? I'm planning on making a list who is staying with us, reserve the rooms and have a certain amount of money transfered to the Kirchenbauerhof to have that fixed. Thanks.
  18. Too bad I can't upload animated GIF's to keep them as my Avatar, but I hope I can share my work here: I hate those interferences.
  19. This is... ... soon! But nevertheless wonderful! Good job, daystar.
  20. Not that I really cared about LoC, but looking at the female bird character I am really disappointed about the bad printing quality what the fitting of torso and legs is concerned! I sincerely hope this is not the quality of every set! But looking at the bad quality of the latest doctor's torso/leg printing I fear the worst.
  21. Update on this matter: I ordered 3 of those torso's and legs. All of the legs had light blue printings instead of white. I complained and asked for better printing instead of a refund, but I got the latter, because they couldn't tell me if the color problem will be solved at all!
  22. +1 for legomr. Convenient and very succesful buy!
  23. A cool MOC worth reanimating this topic! At first I thought: How good can a Porsche made in Lego be? Now I know! Really superb. And very well presented, too.
