Okay. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! 5840 - Garden Playmates from Belville! Close - but no cigar! Redhead1982 wins the last point and we end up in this results: CopMike - 0 points = nada, peau de zobi, zilch, diddly squat, duck egg, zero, zip, jack shit, fly speck, bupkis Ecclesiastes - 1 point Eiker86 - 1 point Christian - 1 point Brickdoctor - 1 point Quarryman - 1 points - but wins the fairness-price this year! Scubacarrot - 2 point Redhead1982 - 2 points Cecilie - 3 points Congratulations Cecilie! I'm proud to give away the grand 1st price to the one being up so early every morning. Nobody believes that. Thank you very much and a special thanks for playing fair - That's the spirit I wanted to see! So thank you all in participating, I hope you had fun playing and searching. There will be one more number tomorrow, but outside the calculation. You'll see the reason. For me it was an honor being the host of this and the fun definitely will continue: Can't wait to see you all soon!

*Drumroll* I present the last (official) number of this year's countdown: and I see Redhead is already lurking! So time is ticking.

EB event #9: Time/date of arrival and last information
Holodoc replied to Holodoc's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
First evening Wednesday: Kirchenbauerhof - socialising! -
Like Dfenz said, this is for families only. I stumbled upon the same offer when I bought my ticket, but then realized it can't be used by us. Check this link to clarify. EDIT: I just saw the online annual pass will start counting the 365 days beginning with the first visit.

We sure will be at the entrance right at 10 o'clock (wel, +/- 10 minutes ). After that a cell phone call may be useful to organize further meeting spots and times. Recalling last events the DINO-Grill was the usual place to meet at noon / 2 o'clock p.m. to have lunch. EDIT: Removed the far too big picture, here's the link to it. The park will close at 6 p.m. on Thursday and 7 p.m. on Saturday!

Eurobricks Event 2013 - Information Topic
Holodoc replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
It is indeed popular. Nobodoy wants to miss anything. -
Mmmh, I've got to split up the points once again. So there is only one number left - and a number "0" that won't count for the fantastic price. The set indeed is Oh, you wise guys! Ever thought about the fact that I upload all the new images just the day they are published? The normal time in the morning is 10 o'clock at the park entrance (= opening time) The time you get up depends on how long you need to have breakfast and do the usual bathroom necessities. (some eventees in the past were really quick on that ) @Grogall: I'll give you my cell phone number.

Last info about the park: As many of you never have visited Legoland Deutschland, there may be one useful information. Unlike the other park, the is some kind of giant PAB in the park, named the "Fabrik". You'll get a vast variety of standard bricks in many colors and some other useful bricks as well. You be well advised to keep the price in mind: 100g = 9€! If you have a MOC in wip status that can be a smooth solution though. -
Both of you are right. What shall I do with the points? Well, both of you get one. 2009-10 still were your dark ages? Wow. The weather right now is really bad in all the south of Germany while I am enjoying sun and partly cloudy heaven in the west. The forecast for Günzburg from Wednesday on is quite good. It won't be sunny all the day, but nice temperatures and just light wind.
-
Then I ask you to do so, because the space in Bonparte's car is limited.
-
And I thought I had all the sets packed (see above)... Okay 4 x 60025 for now. Anybody else?
-
I give you 10 seconds...
-
Here's part of the usual light package: How big was you car again, Bonaparte? And one last offer for the townies: is available at real,- for 19,95€ the upcoming week.
-
Okay, too easy again? Now Cecilie really wants to get the price - she extends the lead with 3 points all in all.

EB event #9: Time/date of arrival and last information

Bonaparte mentioned something like this would eventually happen. Very, very welcome to the party, Rufus & Pandora! It's really great to see you again. Are you staying with us at the Kirchenbauerhof? Okay, I noted warm beer with mint flavour for the islanders. "Isn't it lukewarm enough, maybe? I can have it made warmer!" -
days to go. I can almost smell it!

Sure we will. Normally this is the time when the fun begins! Any preferred drinks at this time? Calanon asked me if someone could pick him up at Günzburg station around midnight. Has everyone gotten his/her tickets for the Legoland yet? Otherwise there is still Grogall's proposal. -
Sound like a real competitor for the jelly rat spitting competition for the first time. Good!
-
Topic title says it all: - When are you going to arrive in Günzburg? I will take all keys for the rooms, expecting our car to be there first, thus I want to know when you are coming - does anybody need a pickup from somewhere? Günzburg train station is too far away from the Kirchenbauerhof to walk! - this is the place where we are staying. EDIT: WTF! The link isn't working. Please use "Leipheimerstraße 7, Bubesheim" - a first weather forecast trend can be found here. Do you have further questions?
-
Errr... why?
-
A new member is joing the 1-point group: Redhead1982! There's still time to catch up on Monday and Tuesday.

For those who understand German, there is an interesting report about 3D-printing here. All others use Google translate. For me it's an easy thing: It's an improvement to be able to print whatever you like. BUT if you transfer this to LEGO builing this isn't pure LEGO anymore. What's the fun to just print what you don't have? I'd call it rather lazy in first place. The clever builder uses the "limited" parts originally made from TLC and tricky MOCing solutions. Here's what I saw on an exhibition in Cologne last year: Good looking, no question, but clever?

Without further ado:
