  1. Wow, this is truly amazing! I would like to have something like that in our local carnival procession.
  2. Wow - already late to the party? I'm in of course, come what will. For those coming for the first time and thinking of flying: There is a direct connection from Frankfurt/Main to Billund. Maybe this is an option. Because train is one of the worse options as there is no station in Billund.
  3. Thanks for the info, Grogall! This keeps the cinema in my head going... I sincerely doubt it will be a corner building again after the cinema. ... hardly Parisian.
  4. Well, if it's not listed, it probably never was produced for a set. Often these items were made for Legoland's designers and somehow - - they found their way to Bricklink.
  5. I think both of you mean the set 10214. Published under "Advanced models", it wasn't an architecture set. And I have to disagree , the larger set is still my favourite.
  6. My sons (and me) love this! ... and I have a 2x4 with smile as well...
  7. This is wonderful! And would fit perfectly to my Brandenburg gate and the Big Ben. Thx for sharing.
  8. Thanks for the help. I found flickr's help page as well. The thing is that flickr works so different from what I am used to. I always prefer to see data like it is presented on my computer: A tree which you can browse to the left and the photos to the right - that is my world. But now all photos are presented on a big screen, completely unsorted, although I placed them in different "sets". I tried a new sorting. Is it working?
  9. Now here's my first attempt: Click. Don't ask. How can I integrate the folders in the Günzburg 2013 one? And I still can't create the Munich-folder.
  10. Who was the one to tell me flickr was easy to use? I'm close to throwing my screen out of the window getting used to this &§$'* website. Not self explaing at all, every time I want to drag and drop the images, the browser shows one without uploading. And I have no clue how to get the stuff sorted. Damn crap!
  11. Mmmmmh. Strange. Normally it doesn't take so long. Any other place where I can (easily!) upload my pics?
  12. Oh, dang! - that would have been a nice suprise to see you again. See you in Billund then!
  13. More pictures: Waiting outside the Fabrik (after 2 hours browsing): The new Ninjago - fly - whatever - thingy (the left side filled with EB'ers): The Dfenz' family can use everything! The only ones who bought in the 'discount' tent: Our tourgide in Miniland: Second evening: Build with what was brought TO the event: The new 4D-movie with Chima-power (before we realised it was all in German): The master of the polybags: Louis Vuitton guard (Lasse D): It's always the same: The AFOL are coming! The best Biergarten I have ever gone to Hirschgarten/München: Mahlzeit! Back to business again (LEGO store Pasing): Another Biergarten, still good (Zur Linde Günzburg/Deffingen): And the Kirchenbauerhof - highly recommended if you are planning a trip to Legoland Deutschland! Nice, quiet and cosy place not only for AFOL but also for families especially with small children.
  14. Definitely on my list! Thanks for the polys and all the other stuff, btw!
  15. One advice: If you can't see the lens, your face will be hidden on the photo!
  16. I got home very early on Sunday, had a nice afternoon with my wife and kids and fell asleep around 8 p.m. Right know I'm a bit amazed that I'm not more tired... I'm working right now (emergency stand by service all night long), but with a little luck, there will be time to build the 42006 Excavator. Thank you all for some great 5 days and especially Grogall for the nice trip around Munich. It's always nice to have a picture of the EB members and to add some more people to the friends list. My BS-folder will be filled in the upcoming hours. EDIT: Done! Here are some examples: L-R: Snefroe, Cecilie, ace, Peppermint_M, Rufus clicking on this picture leads to a bigger version. From the left to the right: Ecclesiastes, Snefroe, Ace, Miss Kyle, Redhead1982, Steven, LasseD, Bonaparte, Quarryman, Cecilie, Pandora, Scubacarrot, Copmike, Peppermin_M, Calanon, Cwetqo, Rolli, Grogall, Dfenz, eiker86, Teddy and his wife Petra, Vincent Kessels. Kneeling in front: Aredhel, Rufus, Holodoc. And our faces say it all!
  17. NIce idea! Why didn't you do it in some dark gray colour? Anyway - is it working?
  18. I got home really soon on Sunday and I'm amazed to see I'm not tired after just one (longer) night of sleep! For further conversation about the event I suggest you continue here. Thx.
  19. Hey, TNT apples! Nice first job you did there. Easily recognizable, BUT... ... there is still alot to do on the shape of the saucer part. Just like other members have already stated, it needs to be thinner on the outside and the bottom part is also "round" in contrast to the all flat bottom you mocced. The lamps are a beginning, now move on to the shape. Thx for sharing.
  20. Heyhey, what a start in a new week when the week gone has also been such a joy! Well deserved, so congrats, Ecclesiastes!
  21. DONE! See you all there!
  22. Wow, I almost forgot to ask if anybody is owner of some spare 2x4 in these colors: - olive green, light aqua and transparent yellow? Or 2x2 tiles in unusual colors? This is what I have so far:
  23. No, Günzburg is roughly 100 km away from Munich, but I checked both locations. Yep, that may be the case, at least the A8 was blocked around Chiemsee today. For further info look here. Alcohol-free beer then? *ducks*
  24. This is the weather forecast for Munich, Mr. Smart-pants!
  25. The weather for Günzburg and the upcoming days: Wednesday: 9-21°C, mostly sunny, chance of rain 30%, 10 hours of sun Thursday: 9-22°C, mostly sunny, chance of rain 30%, 10 hours of sun Friday: 11-22°C, mostly sunny in the morning, chance of rain 70%, chance of thunderstorm 70% , 9 hours of sun Saturday: 12-23°C, mostly sunny, chance of rain 40%, 11 hours of sun Doesn't sound too bad, does it? And I saw the forecast for the week after: Max. 17°C and more rain again.
