I've only seen the two pilot episodes once. It seemed like the throne was underground. It does make sense though as far as a set is concerned that the throne would just be in the back of the croc head.

I have a riot squad as well. There's yet to be a riot in Brickenhead town but when there is all six in the squad will be worth their weight in plastic. I equipped the criminals in my town with Uzi's and RPG's. Amongst other things. My riot squad are armed too but seriously lacking in the same sort of firepower. At some point I'll be building a prison to house all the criminals in stripey tops and orange overalls. Which will leave just a few loose cannons, so to speak. Mob bosses and the like. It makes more sense for them to have the heavy arsenal. I'll be retiring all my millions of older police minifigs to be replaced by the new ones. They're better suited to fighting crime in a modern town or city. All we're missing is a few plain clothes detectives. And a police chief that isn't dressed in tan and wearing a silly hat. Some beat cops would be useful. Not that Lego should deluge City sets with police but if they're going to update the police they should at least give us a proper force with heirarchy.

Must be like TRU over here. Different stores get different stock depending on how affluent the area is the store is in. Actually it's the same with ASDA which is Walmart owned. I guess the idea is to make you visit more than one store hoping you'll end up buying more stuff than you wanted as you trawl through the aisles of hell.

Right, it's been an age since I asked for more pictures, but I finally got an e-mail containing some today. My brother says "We've built another mill and some smaller buildings since this lot." Which means they still have the third mill to complete. He didn't give me any stats on the actual number of bricks used but I'm not sure I really want to know after seeing all that tan. Hopefully the picture will take you to the flickr gallery I just put up. I'll add to the gallery as I get more pics from my brother. And I'll see if I can drag some stats out of him. Feel free to ask questions. I'll put them to him but it may take a while to get answers.

Ha, I hadn't made that stormtrooper connection. Spot on analogy.

"Brrharroom. There have been no Entings for a terrible long count of years." A minifig Ent would be silly. As they've taken the time to design brick built ones for the game I imagine that's what we'd get in a set.

Bilbo Baggins (blue jacket) exclusive figure with DVD
Jargo replied to SheepEater's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
They aren't too dissimilar. The minifig's waistcoat may look darker if there's gold print on it. in certain light gold paint looks much darker. The blue of the movie coat is closer to regular Lego blue than it is to dark blue. In contrast the tatty blue coat from There and Back again looks like this: -
I don't have clairvoyance, no. I would however end the show with all the animals reverting to their natural forms and reuniting with the Legend Beasts. Or all dying of a hideous ailment from an over-use of Chi. I'm intrigued by the croc hideout. In the show there's that huge mouth entrance leading underground and then the trees with platforms round the trunks and scaffold like towers either side of the entrance with a skywalk platform spanning between them. I'm assuming there's a jetty/dock for the command ship too. looks like one on the right side bank if looking from the front. I Imagine the mouth entrance and two towers will be what the set comprises of.

Just don't make it bleed Semejanza excelente. Bravo.

Seems to me that for a world that has lived in peace for so long they have an awful lot of armoured equipment. Also, having lived in peace the Lions and Eagles are somewhat softened in nature. They like the peace and want to keep things peaceful and live in a more enlightened way. Though they are all addicted to Chi. Junkies the lot of them. If the Chi were to run out they'd all be totally strung out, aggressive and twitchy. Chaos would ensue. And it has been stated that the supply of Chi is limited......

I'm not a fan of the Shellraiser in the show or in Lego form. I much prefer the split apart cart vehicle/s from the show. The Shellraiser is just too big and ugly. I hope if there is another wave we get more mutants. They're the fun part of the show. The weirder the better. The Kraang are getting boring and are far too easily defeated. As are The Foot. Though more of them with Karai would be a decent set. Also cool would be The Pulverizer. He'd have to have a big belly like Bombur in the LOTR sets. And definitely Mr. Murakami and the Purple Dragons main trio. This is an amazing show with really cool characters. It would be a crying shame not to get any of the oddball ones. I mean besides Fishface and Dogpound.

Bilbo Baggins (blue jacket) exclusive figure with DVD
Jargo replied to SheepEater's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Aah, I was wrong. Yes I admit it. Bilbo has two blue coats. One is in Hobbiton as he's wandering through the market and the second is the one given to him by one of the Dwarves (I can't recall which one off hand). So yes, a blue coated Bilbo in a set is entirely likely. I imagine it will possibly be in a Dale or Erebor set. -

And bright red Underoos didn't draw attention to it? -
Countless millions of policemen and firemen who outnumber civilians ten to one. There's a police station or fire station on every corner.

Lots of questions about Lego Western! WW Guys Have Names?
Jargo replied to captain gabe's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I always assumed the Native Americans were neutral to the conflict between cavalry and bandits. The native's sets contain no bandits or cavalry and the cavalry and bandit sets contain no natives. -
Bilbo Baggins (blue jacket) exclusive figure with DVD
Jargo replied to SheepEater's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well now, that precludes a blue jacketed Bilbo from appearing in a set, doesn't it. Unless a slightly different more accurate blue coated Bilbo was used in a set. Erebor Bilbo's coat has furry edging and is quite bedraggled. It would be quite odd to make sets from the third movie and not have Bilbo in the right costume. -
What did you like? The buzz. Building a MOC for the first time in years. What didn't you like? What seemed like a misunderstanding of the brief leading to so many mecha's. Only recieving one vote. Practically no-one bothering to leave a comment on my entry thread. What could I have done better? Stricter, tighter brief. Don't use an image of a build to advertise the competition and subliminally/inadvertently influence the type of entries. Don't comment on entry threads besides a 'thank you for entering'. Remain neutral and non-partisan. What do you like better? Trophies or Prizes? or both? Prizes. Trophies are cool but prizes are a better motivator. What other comments do you have for Sci-Fi month? There's differing levels of skill among entrants and pitting a novice against a skilled veteran seems a little cruel. Perhaps there could be different classes of experience and skill like 'novice, middle, veteran' or something, though obviously with better names for the classes. That way entrants could place their entry into a grouping of entries they see as being of the same skill level as themselves.

How could they not be licensed? They were representations of actual players and used the NBA official logo. Some serious money parted company with The Lego Group's bank account for that one.

Are you stalking me? You're making a point of disagreeing with my posts. I've grown tired of it and I suggest you don't bother in future as I'm choosing to add you to my ignore list. End of discussion.

Vomitorium is still in use in theatres. If I remember correctly it's the exit from the auditorium nearest the proscenium arch. Underneath the posh seat boxes.

I wrote a long post detailing why an African theme would be great but In all honesty though, I think the only way Africa will be represented is in licensed themes. Stuff like Indiana Jones. Which is sad but as we know, in-house themes all have yellow skinned minifigures as standard. So unless Lego pick up a license which is set in Africa with native Africans as lead characters we're not going to see black minifigures anytime soon.

I was just coming in here to ask about the names of the native Americans.
