  1. Well the name was there the other day because I copied all the tribes listed in the table on that page into a Word doc.
  2. I dunno, ask Meiko. I got the name from his Chima pages. I was just noting that the tv show black Gorilla and the minifig are different. And no need to be aggressive.
  3. The wolf lair seems to have two small detachable vehicles on the front. I can't see why it would have three small wheels on the front extensions otherwise. Windra having a mini-copter is pretty cool. I like that it's not just the birds who can take to the air. Not digging Skinnet and Furty but the Gorillas are cool. I'm guessing Gornay is the black Gorilla we saw in the first two tv episodes as the Gorzan minifig has different head markings.
  4. If it hasn't been mentioned already, these curved sloped bricks inverted would be fantastic: Not to mention that these would be cool inverted too: Also any other wedges and slopes with a curve that don't yet have an inverted version.
  5. Cool. Thanks Si.
  6. That is an awesome item. When i have a few spare pennies I'll definitely put in an order.
  7. Si, In the FAPC voting thread you have the wrong picture for my entry. I updated the entry with an improved build before the deadline. Could you switch the pic for the improved version please?
  8. It looks the same as the trans dark pink round scorpion egg pod. Which I think is a new piece.
  9. What? imageshack wants me to register to view the files. Stuff that. Anyway, from what I've seen of these castle sets I think it's great that younger kids will get some decent castle stuff. All this LOTR stuff is fine for TFOL and AFOL people but it's not for that group of kids beyond DUPLO and searching for something with dragons and wizards. This years castle stuff fills that role.
  10. I believe it only exists in yellow in both the hinge and ball joint types. The sweeper vehicle is probably just a scene embellishment in the way the different bicycle colours and buildings are in set promo dioramas. It's a little old fashioned in style that vehicle. We'd be more likely to get a vehicle like the one from 8404 Public Transport Station as a set.
  11. UGH! I'm actually getting butterflies in my stomach at the prospect of seeing Billy's summer release vehicle. How sad is that? Very sad. If anyone spots a picture pleeeeeease post it here. I'm strung out like a junkie for red team.
  12. Twelvety, twenteen, some. Yaaaaaay, I do numbers!
  13. It's been a fun month. I was inspired to build rather than just buy and store parts. I entered the FAPC contest which is something I wouldn't normally do and shared lots of pictures with a new flickr account. Which has connected me with people. As someone who is an introvert, this is good. So for nudging me to connect with the community in a positive way, thank you Si-MOCS.
  14. Look here, you can see the cap on the foreground minifig has a hole dead centre on top. it's shown in other pics too. The ear defenders aren't painted, they're black plastic and separate from the cap. Across the summer sets there are about five or six minifigs with the cap and ear defenders. Some caps are blue but most are red.
  15. And as I pointed out he doesn't. The blue team 'co-pilot' is in the purple pod. Billy is just making off with the tank in protest.
  16. The ear defenders attach like the friends hair accessories do. there'll be a tiny peg in the centre of the headband of the defenders that fits into a small hole on the top of the cap that keeps the defenders in place. I imagine the piece will be utilised elsewhere as headphones with hairpieces that have holes on top in the future.
  17. I think I'm disappointed in the mech because of how smooth and round and agile it is in the show. The set looks unfinished. Like it's halfway through prototype phase. Which is odd considering how long this theme has been in development. Fair plat to those who like it. We can't all have the same taste. Life would be dull if we did. I just expected better for a major theme getting all the hype and PR.
  18. I like the nose shape of the Titan but the shuttle seems quite star wars derived. republic gunship and slave 1 are definitely in there. Also it's the blue team and I'm biased against the blues. Especially that doofus Solomon Blaze. The actual second crewman of the titan is in a purple pod in one of the pics in Bricksets flickr set.
  19. OK, final photos added to first post. what you see in the first picture is my actual entry. Anything else is just for kicks. Hope people like it. I caved and built Mr. Dave chicken a minimech.
  20. It's in a useful colour too. I wish the smaller city boats had got tan decks though instead of grey or white.
  21. I don't think much of the mech. It's quite messy looking and the brown looks off next to the black and blue. The hoses and the banana ammo belt sticking out like they do looks like they'd trip the thing up or get caught on trees and bring it crashing down. The minifigs are cool but the mech is meh.
  22. It has a water slide on the back? And speakers facing outwards. These Friends are noise pollutants. tsk. The new nose section on the heli is even better than I hoped. Too bad it hasn't got trans clear glass but I can live with trans pale blue. the ear defenders on the airport ground crew are just awesome though. I'm assuming they clip over the baseball cap.
  23. There's a new buggoid/mosquitoid hybrid by the look of it behind the ship on the alien platform. look at it's head and shoulders. Olive antennae and red mandibles too.
  24. I made some changes. this is Dave Chicken in his chicken walker. Peck controlled. I've uploaded almost all my shots to the existing gallery And will have shots of the entire build up before the deadline. The camera battery died before I could take those. So for now just enjoy this...
  25. Depends on the job of the robot really. no point having a Chihuahua sized robot if you're going into battle to bust some Buggoid carapace. You want a robot capable of punching out a Mosquitoid and walking through a few hive walls then carrying your injured comrade 200 clicks back to HQ. You want a mean metal fightin' machine out on the killing field, not some tinpot Meccano poodle that falls apart soon as you look at it. HURRRRGH!! Oh yeah....
