Great tree technique. The water is also very impressive.

Nice work. Captures the moment perfectly.

Lovely work. The candles are great. I've not seen that before. How did you do the legs on the bench chairs? Edit: the rolled back rug is very clever. Really nice detail on this one.

I think variation on colours looks good.

The rocks on an angle are fantastic work. So much detail. Great work.

Wow. So funky! Nice work. I imagine it was fun to build.

Nice work. The explosion is great.

Nice work. There is good variety in the build. Plus anything black falcon has to be good

Great build. Those bushes are really well done.

That's a lovely castle. Love the classic feel.

Agree that the battlepacks aren't very good value compared to Forrest Ambush. Unless you are specifically after the knight figures. I was going to get the battlepacks but I think I'll just get some more forrest ambush and a couple of gatehouse raids instead (at least it has some useful parts).

Relaxing 'round a Fire (built by my younger brother)
frumpy replied to soccerkid6's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
There is a lot of detail and thought put into this small build. The result is outstanding. Well done to your brother. -
Great scene. My first thoughts were of the discworld wizards.

Yeah, fortunately I've been collecting for years before building so I had plently of pieces in my collection to use. I've been seeing what other people build on these forums for a while so that helped with ideas and techniques as well.

Great detail. Love the way you've added in the ice effect - very well done.

Nice work. The eagle statues on the towers are well done.

Thanks. Not sure what I'll build next. Something with a castle I think. Lucky for me I had all the bricks. Only just had enough for the roof though. Took about a week to build. About 15-20 hours I think. Thankyou. Yeah, I was trying to go simple for the roof. Tried a few ideas and this was the one I settled on. Plus I was running out of pieces :)

That's fantastic. I love the fact that it supports different combinations. As a kid I had mainly futuron space LEGO (even had the train) so I have a soft spot for these type of builds.

Hi All, Further to my previous post I have now finished my build and here are the completed pictures. Considering this is my first MOC I'm fairly happy with the outcome. All feedback welcome.

I like the kids on the shade cloth.

A few more pictures. Now all that's left to do is get my minifigs into the action and set it up for some proper photos.
