  1. I just use regular tweezers, can handle pretty much everything you've shown in the video. They're useful for applying stickers, too.
  2. Thanks, reported the website to GoDaddy already and exploring other options at the moment.
  3. It's what they claim, but their domain is registered by a Chinese company.
  4. OK guys, take a deep breath because if you thought that Chinese companies taking instructions of AFOLs' MOCs and turning them into sets were bad, I have a brand new level of bad for you. I found a company using photos and model descriptions lifted straight off my website to claim that they're selling my MOCs, while in reality they are most definitely not (I'm 100% sure, since I've never published any instructions for these, they aren't showing a single photo that isn't stolen from me, and they certainly could not have reverse-engineered MOCs in the 3,000+ pieces area from a couple of photos). The link: http://www.detail-useful.com/sale/index/details?id=88237090094344 Any idea if there's a legal solution? It's one thing to sell copied MOCs, but these guys are apparently selling nothing. Or let me rephrase for clarity: there is no way in the world that they're actually selling what they claim to be selling. Best case scenario is probably they send you a potato in a box if they're feeling generous.
  5. Seconded. The connector that holds the steering link is completely unsecured, it will slide under any serious load. Also, I strongly suspect that your "embedded cross block" on the driveshaft is pressing on it when suspension works. Plenty of room for improvement in this design.
  6. Two and no, no peeing, they are rodents with manners ;)
  7. Not that I've noticed. The NES Classic Mini is so simple it's essentially just one circuit board inside, the power bank stays cool, maybe the monitor can get slightly warm from prolonged use, but we're talking barely noticeable warm. This is all low-grade simple electronics, not a gaming PC.
  8. I'm not entirely sure this is the right forum section, but I couldn't think of a better one :) So, here's a little contraption I've built with two goals: 1. Take NES console and make it 100% portable and 2. Make it feel like you're playing on an arcade cabinet. I hope NES Classic Mini owners will like that.
  9. Gotta say, for a car built mostly with studless pieces, the shaping of the body is extraordinary.
  10. Never seen it in my life.
  11. Um no, my white background is physically there.
  12. There is no slack in the doors. They are simply held in place only by two 1x1 plates with clips, and if you pull too hard, the plates sometimes let go.
  13. Here's my take at the father of the modern battle tank. Goals: make it green and aim for a reasonable balance between looks and functions. Also, I'm really happy with the upper glacis plate opening up just like in the real tank, because it required creating a complex compact hinge inclined in two planes. 14. Colors must be symmetrical at all times. If I use a blue piece on the left, even if it's deep inside a MOC and can't be possibly seen from outside, the corresponding piece on the right needs to be blue too.
  15. Actually, no. I don't know whose video is it, but it's not mine.
  16. Yeah, but I'm concerned about the prices. If you search S@H, they're already selling Powered Up version of LEGO LEDs and it costs nearly TWICE as much as the original PF one: https://shop.lego.com/en-GB/LEGO-Powered-Up-LED-Light-88005 https://shop.lego.com/en-GB/LEGO-Power-Functions-Light-8870
  17. Ahem, anybody remember these? Happened just a few years ago:
  18. I've had a chance to compare the new LEGO Powered Up motor from the 76112 set against the PF motors. There's a number of differences. It remains to be seen whether LEGO intends to replace the PF system with the PU system or to keep them coexisting.
  19. I've got nothing against you pal, I'm just tired of the "you can post any comment as long as it's a praise" attitude present here. We can't seriously discuss their models if we can't discuss their flaws.
  20. Damn, I offended the English language too! Really starting to think I'm better at offending everything that at Lego building. ;) Cheers and goodnight, folks (really hope I got that tense right)!
  21. Apologies for any unpleasantness this whole name thing has caused to you.
  22. As a matter of fact, I praised the McLaren P1 twice this week, which is a decent number given that I write anything on EB about once per month. Why so rarely? Exactly because anything other than blind admiration leads to public outrage here. Also, a friend sent me a link to the crane thread. Fine then, apparently you are much more sensitive than the actual crane builder, who has taken the whole thing rather well. Apologies, my dear princesses. I promise not to call anything "looking different" anymore. How about "of impaired resemblance" instead? ;)
