  1. ah ok, but with four people (including me) in my car, there will surely not enough space in the luggage space for our buys in the lego store i should use at these three days the car of my mother. their luggage space is three times bigger when we drive with cars, and you want to go in the "Hofbräuhaus", the drivers should dont want drink there. or we should use public transport, if the connections are good enough.
  2. Wohoo, an lego event in an realistic distance from my living place. I think i will be there. Have you thinked about how the group comes to munich? I would have my car, but what is with the people which are coming without?
  3. i have got this mail yesterday and today the book. after a short flyover i would say that every technic beginner should own this book. very useful basics and technical explanations are included in this book
  4. why not something like this? they will simply put on the cylinder rod without any technical change on the crane. in real life there will be used open steel tubes to prevent the boom for moving down during service
  5. cyclic and collectiv are the controls of the rotorblades. cyclic is controlling the flight directions forward/backward and left/right. collective is controlling up and down
  6. cool truck. how did you make the linkage of your rear axles? can you show the front axle in detail?
  7. which part do you not understand?
  8. damn differentials, but your pickup looks great
  9. wow, this helicopter is very tiny. i have made the mechanism a little bit more compact the levers of the cyclic control are now on one axle these allows to make the collective system more compact and stable. if all cyclic levers will move forward or backwards, the swashplate will move up or down. this works only with an swashplate ball which is good sliding on the axle here some pics of the inner mechanics 101_9852 von efferman auf Flickr
  10. your idea 1x2 liftarm idea will not work properly, but when you use a 2x2 round brick, instead of the 1x2 liftarm, it should work
  11. to be original nothing of both, but with lego i would say live axle
  12. more pics please! i want see more of these massive thing
  13. the rotorhead should fit, only the freightroom would be2 studs lower. the problem is, where i should place the control stick? Theres no space in the cockpit. iam thinking about a sikorsky S-58 or something like an apache.
  14. they are used in situations when a container must send to a customer which has no possibilitiys to unload the container from the trailer dokludi, nice work
  15. gene, we will see now something completely different: first try of a rotorhead with cyclic and collective pitch control. i think it needs some tuning, what do you think? some pics 101_9838 von efferman auf Flickr
  16. dear childrens, dont try this with your parents car on a real lake good drifts rm8
  17. i know what you mean, but with this chassis are rollovers to the side a normal situation. btw, is this your challenge entry?
  18. yes, the L shaped liftarms are the guide rail for the axle. and there is no limitation of movement 101_9836 von efferman auf Flickr
  19. my favourite is this solution, the axle is every time in center chassis003 von efferman auf Flickr
