  2. in both directions it is to dificult for me, but how it is with this shield? City D11 9 by efferman, on Flickr
  3. what do you think about this shield? City D11 8 by efferman, on Flickr
  4. on a 3L axle this should work when the center is not a cross. but iam sceptic how solid this connection will be. In which function do you would using this?
  5. thanks guys Zblj, can you please do your trick with the tracks again? city D11 LXF
  6. i have a question: iam working on a studded version of my minifig Caterpillar D11 and the dimensions of it will be roundabout 30 studs long and 18 or 19 studs wide at the shield of the dozer. at the outside of the tracks the D11 is only 13 studs wide. i know that the width should have 16 studs, with exception of mirrors or something similar. With a 18 or 19 studs wide shield my D11 is not Valid, even when the other vehicle is inside of the 16 studs width?
  7. something like this? City D11 5 by efferman, on Flickr unfortunately i have not the parts to build it in real
  8. the material thickness difference between polished or unpolished is roundabout a tenth of a mm. And this is in their tolerance.
  9. the compat tracked loader should be something like this
  10. thank you very much! how did you make this?
  11. yes, the drivetrain of the actuator is very minimalistic, but i had no idea where i can place the knob for actuating. the exhaust pipe is for lifting the shield, the airfilter for lifting the ripping tooth. do you have an idea which doesnt look wrong? thanks for the tracks
  12. Very unhappy with the 42028 tracked dozer, it was planned to make some modifications to let it look like the Iconic Caterpillar D11. But unfortunately every dimension of 42028 seems to be wrong and it became a moc. Because there are only two types of wide tracks available and the bigger ones need larger sprocket gears than available, i have chosen the old and small wide tracks. This results surprisingly in a nearly exact minifig scale of 1:30 -1:32. the fake engine looks even in 42028 much to large so i have skipped it and added a adjustable tooth at the back The Bogie suspension of the Caterpillar D11 is working in minifig scale too the shield in front of my D11 is mostly from 42028 because i have not had a better idea for it. for people who want build it is a LDD file available. Many thanks to Zblj for pulling the tracks on the gears! feel free to make critics and suggestions
  13. so the 42039 endurance racecar seems to be the flagship?
  14. my minifig D11 has no special parts which are including only in 42028, so there is no need to buy it.
  15. Thank you very much. i think roundabout 700 pieces. for the exact partcount i first have to make a ldd file edit: 735 parts including 104 small track pieces minifig d11 by efferman, on Flickr
