The prototype is designed to mount a L motor at the bottom and to use it as mounting point to the uppercarriage. one guy in my german homeforum has ordered it and will test it with a very heavy 4 section boom which cant be lifted with standard actuators. in relation to the success at this test i will think about a different mounting method when it is necessary.

Zblj, there are several ripper types available for the D11. i have chosen the single one. Milan, i will think about it. the shield is 18 studs wide because it looks better and the old one doesnt cover the tilting cylinders. edit: milan, in this scale a brick built ripper is to fat

ok, if this works, we will have a XL linear actuator. 3 studs thick and a movement range of 18 studs. But actually there is no end stop at the open end of the actuator to save costs of printing. if the thread is working i will make a case which delivers the endstop. at the bottom end a PF L can placed direct to the holder
