  1. actually iam working on a modified 10220 VW-T1 when it is finished it should be a flatbed with single cab and power functions. the fake motor will stay in the mod thanks to my 20z diff the cab is a little bit different to 10220 and i have made a short vid earlier this day hope you like it
  2. no diff, only a 12 tooth double bevel and a 20 tooth single bevel
  3. very strange, it has the same internals.
  4. to expensive! for this it would be neccessary to have the sames size of three of these boxes
  5. Sweet, your hamsters of course, but your hmmvy are getting bigger and looking better with every revision. At next time a willys jeep maybe?
  6. damn, why they are available in polished white? the problem is that the Pieces are to small for polishing. sorry for this mistake. for the 24 tooth 2m diff you have not get this message? it has the same internals, so you will probably get the same message when you contact the people at shapeways and ask if the can modify your order in non polished white and flexible
  7. at shapeways you get at every time what the picture shows. in the case of the 24/8 combination you get the thre gears which you see on the picture edit a diff for lego city cars. at the axle it is 5 studs wide, but this can be changed to more or less in different versions, because the axle and the knob gear in the diff are one piece . the main gear of the diff is a 16z , driven by a worm supersmall diff von efferman auf Flickr
  8. The parts will hold together but how much friction the pin will generate, i only could guess. A tenth more or less of the shapeways tolerance, will decide between friction or not.
  9. pins which follow the idea of D3K pin a half and 3/4
  10. i have made a lxf file https://www.dropbox.com/s/ywbdt8lnvu5ypmj/rotating%20beacon.lxf a flat mirror should work better than the chromed dish
  11. Yes they work good, but i have forgotten to do this edit: done and a 20z double bevel with an internal ratchet
  12. a wormgear which fits to 20z double bevel gears
  13. a rotating beacon. not perfect but 100 percent lego
  14. Thanks Now, where the first reviews are online, i see that i have a higher gear reduction, and the 42030 has more speed. Not sure which solution is better.
  15. ingmar, this truck in your post makes me drooling back to topic. the string pulls the levers in direction to the tail? wow, simply clever
  16. thank you very much for this clever and small design, but how it will be opened when the trailer is attached?
  17. we will see how they perform after some time of using
  18. thanks. what is the overall gear reduction of the drive function?
  19. some pogress at the U 530 the 8110 attachment points are existing but they are so short as possible.
