actually iam working on a modified 10220 VW-T1 when it is finished it should be a flatbed with single cab and power functions. the fake motor will stay in the mod thanks to my 20z diff the cab is a little bit different to 10220 and i have made a short vid earlier this day hope you like it -

damn, why they are available in polished white? the problem is that the Pieces are to small for polishing. sorry for this mistake. for the 24 tooth 2m diff you have not get this message? it has the same internals, so you will probably get the same message when you contact the people at shapeways and ask if the can modify your order in non polished white and flexible -

at shapeways you get at every time what the picture shows. in the case of the 24/8 combination you get the thre gears which you see on the picture edit a diff for lego city cars. at the axle it is 5 studs wide, but this can be changed to more or less in different versions, because the axle and the knob gear in the diff are one piece . the main gear of the diff is a 16z , driven by a worm supersmall diff von efferman auf Flickr -

The parts will hold together but how much friction the pin will generate, i only could guess. A tenth more or less of the shapeways tolerance, will decide between friction or not. -

some pogress at the U 530 the 8110 attachment points are existing but they are so short as possible.
