auranapse, iam working on it, but it will be hard to get it in a 5 to 7 frame Leewan, printed parts are really massive and hard to grind, i dont think that they sucking water like a sponge. -
as far as i remind these two parts are not available in yellow

i have made yesterday a little research about LS diffs and they are made with springs and clutch plates. iam working on something like this but iam not sure if this works in real with its more than 10 parts (without lego gears) but i think this works, even when i dont know why shapeways have these steps on the blades. These propellors are left and right so the boats should not have a tendece to move to the side. When someone wants to test it with one of his boats, please try different RPM ratios. as far as i know bot propellors have all an optimal range of rpm, to fast and they only make bubbles. -

Z3_2drive, i have updated the mc pherson part, i hope they will use it for your part. the ball and the hole for the 3pin part are a tenth bigger. btw, is there a need for a longer small linear actuator? -
