  1. tis is a very interesting design and you are right, in and outlets on top would be better. i will try to design one, but i think the width will be 2 studs and the length four studs, because the sealing will need its space
  2. i think it depends on the quality of the printer, but nylon with its sls method has the advantage that it needs no support structure which has to removed later. an abs printer ads some supports to the modelthat it not will collapse during the printing process. someone has wanted to print my large turntable in abs, but the print has added so much support to it, that it was not usable.
  3. it seems there is a favorite. so i have to make it more compact edit: here is the lxf file for the optimized version https://www.dropbox.com/s/pd6dlf79m8b0vjq/loading%20ramps.lxf
  4. now i have tested it and a support is neccessary
  5. the second one is more massive, because it has a support which touches the ground.
  6. for a guy in my german forum iam building a lowloader for wheeled loaders and i have to decide which type of ramp i use i prefer the first one because it fits better to the scale. what do you think?
  7. my entry for the mini contest is the little big monster. it features two pendular axles and allwheel steering by hand of god the part count will follow when i have made the ldd file edit: 177 parts
  8. a 24 tooth and a 8 tooth as one piece and with a circle hole in the center? sure, why not. i have the 8 tooth freerun in my actual order. i think tuesday or wednesday they will arrive . when they work i will do this
  9. two new parts an axle 3m with pin. not sure about the friction of the pin. and a h shaped liftarm with a pinhole between the two sides btw, shapeways offers now wax as material which makes it possible to make your own casting mould for metal parts
  10. these are gearboxes for wormgears this is a gearbox for this both together can be used as a type of linear actuator this was used by 2legoornot2lego for one his gorgeous trailers as a sliding part

  18. Thank you very much for this gorgeous review and the perfect pictures.
  19. a new connector with a 45 dgrees displacement between the cross axles, to align the axles after a 12/20 tooth combination. i see this as a useful piece in steering mechansism which wörks with a servo
