Hello dear eurobrickers Finally I found a little time to take some photos,... there has been quite some time since I update my designs, by the way, if you wanna see how it has been evolving since the 1st time I finished my BSB, here are some links: mark I, and mark II, there's actually a mark III but I guess I never took the time to update here, so this last one is actually the mark IV, more or less :P Anyway, here I tried to stay a little closer to the original design, but at the same time I wanted to enlarge everything, and make it in a way it didnt look disproportionate.. so.. I guess that's about it, with no other introduction, I present you my lastest design on the Black Seas Barracuda: Finally, I wanted to show you both of my creations, sitting one in front of the other Feedback, as always, is well appreciated :)

Dunno what you guys think, but I kinda like this new jolly roger pattern in metalbeard's hat better than the one in 2009 pirates.

This is.......I got no word to describe such incredible beauty! Perfect proportions, perfect shape, splendid details at every inch of the ship, your technique to build the hull is so unique! I thought I was crafting a very nice one at LDD, but this leaves my desing sooo far behind, Its even frustrating just peek at it and see how perfect everything is! Haha, please, as Sebeus said, enlighten us! -
The window looks nice from the outside, but I think its really small to light anything inside... Nice job on the tiled kitchen and living room, it improved a lot!

Well, now that I could study more closely your pic's, I got 2 little comments that could be used to improve this already awesome MOC! :) 1st, the base floor could look a lot better with a tiled floor, even better a 2 color one, (black and white for example), since the dark gray makes it look a little like a dungeon... just a little.. 2nd, a nice window in the roof would look great both from the outside, and specially from the inside, since the roof color is black, it darkens a little the room's enviroment (from the 3rd floor..), but with the brightness that brings a window, everything would look diferent! Now for your little contest: 1. Nueva Brickia 2. The Governor's Secret Diary 3. I don't know, just pick whatever you like the most :P Overall, as I told you before, a really nice MOC

[MOC] Brickbeard's Shadow of the 7 Seas
Yawgmoth replied to Captain Hannibal Joost's topic in Pirate MOCs
Very nice! I like the whole presentation for your MOC! -
Hehe, I really gotta rearrange my captains,.. when I took these photos I was in kind of a hurry, and blackbeard was in his cabin inside the Black Seas Barracuda, so Ironhook replaced it for a little bit :P Of course I never liked the idea of Blackbeard being the captain of 5 ships, when I finish my mods on all the classic ships (which is what I plan to do..someday) then I will sets their crews properly. I am afraid I got no plans for this, it really doesnt have very complicated techniques, I just tried to stick to the classic feel, and everything just came by itself :P By the way, the final version of my Black Seas Barracuda is already sailing "the black seas" hehe, I'll post some photos when I get back to my house!

I read it all to the end, I liked how you bluecoats, redcoats, armada, pirates and islandes at the same time! I also liked a lot the inside of the Imperial Flagship :)

Thanks for your comment :) There's still one very important part of the ship I gotta finish, and its the stern roof, the one that depicts something like a curtain in both sides, that should be attached to the spears in the 2nd floor, I already got the idea of how to finish that, but not the pieces to do it, yet.. Also, I gotta do some brick built anchors, the ones from lego are way too small, and that tan line, hehe.. I had no dark red for this piece so I used the one that the original 4195 QAR set brings with :P I gotta work a lot more on all the masts, they are kind of,... hurry made.. I didn't put that much effort on those. All in all, I am very pleased on how this experience went, I learned a thing or two, but mostly I have learned how not to do a lot of other things :P, next time I rebuild her, I'll use an actual QAR blueprints and some more advanced techniques to get a better curve on hull and the stern. I'am already working on it :)

[pid][/pid] 153A Greetings This is like the fifth or sixth time I rebuild my Quenn Anne's Revenge, each time bigger, or with more details, etc.., but now this one is a more serious attempt to build an accurate replica from the movie. Still a lot of details to be added, lots of stuff to curve more, or not to, but with the pieces I currently have, this is the best I could do, for now... WIth no other introduction, I present you my lastest QAR. Feedback is always welcome :)

Just 1 day left for the auction to finish :)

I like it! its little but very detailed and every element in the original one is accurately built :) thanks for sharing!

Hello there! As the tittle says, I am selling a huge lot, there's used and new pieces, everything well packed and ready to ship! feel free to check it at the next link.

Using this attached to this and finally this ..should do the trick I guess..
-
Wow, after a good amount of time, there's an update! :) thought it was just another abandoned project, glad it wasnt the case! I like many of the details, and the overall look, hope I can see it finished!, this is some kind of competition for me, since I am also still brewing my own QAR, lets see who finish it first :D
-
Uhmm... I guess "Nothing" would be better appreciated than that
-
I like it! :D good work, really!
-
I had been always curious about the QAR in the video game :O would be a nice design to base mine
-
Wow! thanks for the blog :D and for all the comments! Thanks :D and yes! I am trying to keep it as much as I could with the original patterns and design, adding some stuff of my own. I like big sterns :P ... uhmm, I don't know what you mean with the white arch bricks? it is about the ammount of them, or the way they are stacked? :O I can work a little bit the prow, I left the figurehead as it was in the original set, to keep the classic feeling :P I could try some others tho.. I thought it was kinda large the 1st day, then I went to sleep, the next day when I started from the point I left it, it just seemed right :P it might be for a personal taste I suppose hehe

149C Hello there It's been some time since I post something, I had been busy lately,... anyway, not going to add much, I enjoyed building this one, and as a tribute to my favorite lego set of all times, I came up with this customized version. Here's a size comparison I wanted to chck with my other ships. Hope you enjoyed the tour :) Feedback is always well appreciated.

Love it! I found lots of inspiration in your designs, thanks for sharing!

Wow! now thats a lovely ship! so much classic feeling I see there, a fine mix between BSB and SES with the caribean clipper pattern, reaaaally nice! :)
