Wow! just wow! I had my mouth open for at least 3 minutes just beholding this amazing MOC, its just, increidible! There's tons of details, love how the ships arent that big, yet they have perfect proportions and look real, like... haha, I just can't describe such awesomeness! epic!

Just one row of windows wouldnt had looked better I guess? ... but I also felt that something was missing there, maybe more details, more royal instead of piratey, which is how the BSB is designed in the first place Thanks for your comments! Basically yes, it was just 2 BSB toguether, with some other spare pieces I had,...the idea of mixing two sets was coz I got my second BSB at a really low price,.. if you can get one with a nice price, I'd recommend buying it, since the only pieces that cannot be used would be the hull pieces :P... which can also work for another ship! I used 4 middle hull pieces on this, I still need to fix one or two things that I dont like on my desing after looking at it carefully, like the height of the masts, or some other details, I havent had time lately, when I get some I'd totally be fixing those details and updating here also. Good luck on modding your BSB! post the results when you finish, I'd be more than glad to contemplate it :) and maybe give some feedback too! :) Regards.

Hi I did a little search on the forum, and didnt see something like this, so, here I come :P (if there is a thread like this, my apologies, and you can close this) Well, the whole thing here is, I wanted to share with you all my small but growing pirate crew, and also leave the idea here so if anybody wanted to join and share their own pirates here, to do so. Yesterday I took all my pirate minifigures and realized I have too much identical minifigs, so I took my time and made some little changes to add "variety" to my pirate population, hehe..so there were no clones around. So it ended in 5 pirate captains and their crews, not a large number..just like in any classic ship, like SES or BSB. So, with no other introduction, I present you my captains and their crews (In rank, from left to right): The first one and still kicking, Captain Roger and his men (and women): Next one is William the Bloodthirsty with his savage crew BlackHeart the Mercyless, next to his men Good old Ironhook, and his band of thieves And Silverbeard Jones, with his crewmembers Hehe, If you want to show whose people are on decks of your ships, feel free to share them with us all, I myself enjoyed doing so :P Until next time.

Small it may be, but a nice little ship, with everything for a fast and deadly assault, they would never know what happened! It would had looked even more dangerous with a cannon, or couple swivel guns :O

I always thought of it as a large, more complicate but also more entertaining, role playing game..which has rules, maps, stats, lots of background histories, ... I still cant think of how we could addapt something that a group of people play interacting between each other in real life, to a larger group, in a forum, but if we can create something like that, then it might be even better than GoH...without any prizes but only for the joy be part of it, 'coz it'd be amazing!

This is something I agree with 100% ..there's no relation between MOCs, even from the same owner..no background, and nobody to challenge...so, its only a place to post personal stuff, like if I were just uploading my photos on facebook, so everybody comment them,. and that's it,..but believe me, this is just a possibility to improve, and lead the community to a new and more entertaining future :P

Obviously you are not alone on this,... and well, I am more than willing to give support or ideas, as long as it improves the actual feeling on pirate MOCing. I've seen some people that enjoy to give some background to their MOCs, I for one, would be encouraged to do so,... and let me tell you, that until today, I realized that GoH had prizes or something like a contest running hehe,..first time I saw it, I thought it was just like a very interesting campaing of D&D, (Not exactly D&D, just an example to give you the idea), and the people that were participating there, did so in order to show some competitive enviroment, where everyone wants to show their best cards, and not to win any prizes. I think that this kind of encouragement is what we need here, and that was the essence of my first post, not to copy any guild creation idea, but to bring here that spirit of competitiveness, which would eventually bring more people, and unite actual members to show and develop their skills in a more interesting and funny way. Obviously, contest brings that kind of feeling, but they aren't the only events that could inflame and encourage that. Everyone has a competitive spirit, even if just a bit, and that my friends, is what we need to develop, and increase in our community.
