  1. I cant agree. Wheathertop was one of the strongest ones at leadt to me and my social bubble :)
  2. It would be interesting since MoM is mostly underground 😀😀😀
  3. Yep we cn doubting everything. And that is the only true we can state here :) Evidence is not bulletproof :)
  4. I think that we are talking about add on ergo buildings from DA that are still missing no matter thair screen time in the movies such as Borgin and Burke, Maddame Malkin, Owl Emporium, and yes Gringotts as well :) Reboot of DA trully doesnt make any sense…
  5. Durmstrang ship for 60£ would be pretty meh imo…
  6. Its not my “hope” I myself will pay 470 USD for s great DA add on (possibly Gringotts) but I was just say out loud that all speculations are based only on that proce tag. And my respinse is, what if the price tag is wrong? Thats it :)
  7. Source can be mistken :) I am not saying that this pricelist from Promobricks is wrong, I am just nit sure if its definitive. History tells us that proce can be changed eventually (or could be wrong at all) For example recent Home Alone set. :)
  8. How can you be so sure? Its questionble. :) But we have reason to take it into count ;) Until its released there is plenty room for speculation and hypothesis. Including mine ;)
  9. Another hypothesis could be that this 470 USD price could be fake, even though its from Promobricks ergo very reliable source. It came to my mind since everyone here is refering his/her ideas based only on rumored price. What if its “just” 299? Or 399? :)
  10. I think that this upcomming D2C wont be Gringotts even though I really wish for it. 470 USD is a bit steep even for HP licensed set. It should have at least 2 additional buildings on 32x16 baseplate (like DA) to match the price. I think that it will be something unexpected and not needed as always. Perhaps new objects with Fawkes? Sword of Griffindor, etc. 😀😀😀 Not to mention Dobby’s sock… no seriously, i would guess something microfig scale such as Ministry of magic or whatever else… still hoping for Gringotts but at the same time I am afraid for my wallet 😀😀😀
  11. Thar would be boring. Each building is unique in terms of style and thats a good thing.
  12. So much dislikes and “hate” for the BH set… interesting. From the perspective of used techniques, new flesh-coloured bricks, size (in terms of number of pieces), overall look and aesthetics its really nice one since… AS? Maybe DD? Finally some proper accomodation for minifigs, complete barhroom, spacial atrium, good number of minifigs… I myself like it a lot. It almost seems to me, that everyone wants big box (single bussines building) with nice fasade and sparse interior and nothing more…
  13. Very nice :) The Great Hall looks like Meduseld :)
  14. But this is not typical hotel ;) Its Boutique hotel…. ;)
  15. Almost the most anticipated Lego set of the year and yet, so many criticisms and negativity (same as every year... Bookshop, Police station, Dinner, Garage...you name it)... I am glad that so far there wasn't any toxic fights and flames :) Anyway, regarding the Boutique Hotel set...I was trying to absorb all the looks and spirit which this year modular brings and I must say, that it's nearly perfect. I have minor nitpicks here and there for example 1. why there is no exit door under the grand staircase? 2. no facet in the sink on the 3rd floor...? 3. no railing on the backside of the roof? and also some minor design flaws (from my perspective) - that angle on the left side of the hotel (above the El Cubo Fine Art building) reveals too much in the sense that it breaks the continuity of the lines... but honestly, I have no idea how to make it "smoother" maybe with some cheese slopes or something like that (similarly as in the Corner Garage?), and lastly the height. I understand the limitations of the budget (therefore piece count), but honestly, there is one floor missing. Some buffet or small restaurant where could be some public (shared) bathrooms / or at least toilets would be nice... BUT - this one can be fixed easily :) I love modular usually as they are (in terms of their dimensions), also I like European style buildings (or SF style ones as well), so for me, THIS is IT (please give us / me more...). I love the colour scheme and the attention to detail. The art gallery? Perfect. Angles? Perfect. Its something different (no more boxes) and brave. I love it. Besides Parisian Restaurant, this is for me 2nd best modular ever (2nd place is shared with AS, since its anniversary sets, and its BIG :)
  16. You can combine Fender Stratocaster Ideas set and Downtown Dinner and....voilá Car Wash is here :D
  17. The first school-themed set in lego city theme in decades (if ever), and they (TLG) give us a small facade and bus... That's just ridiculous. The rest of the sets are crap too, besides that Moon Base... Love new torsos and some new parts such as squirrel etc. But overall... a huge disappointment, as usual.
  18. "Santadon" is included even with the sleigh. I consider as highly unfair, that in this "Emplyee only set" there will be whole collection of golden figs. Speculants and re-sellers will get fortune for those...
  19. Besides, the upcomming set from the winter wave (Hospital wing) will be in the same modular style as the sets from this year...
  20. This “wave” of CHNY sets is dissapointing to me at least. Previous year was really good in terms of storyrelling and compatibility to other sets such as modular buildings etc.. I kinda like Ice skating Rink but Inhaze to see that “paperish” wall/photo-stand. I think I skip it but at least I can decide properly after some reviews…
  21. white masonry bricks in Queer Eyes apartment… a spark of hope for the Gringotts bank next year? :)
  22. TBH 2018-2020 Hogwarts sets, wasn't that good at all. The best one is Great Hall with Clock Tower. Personally, I don't like the rest. GH has a big handicap in form of the lacklustre tower. Overa silhouette is kinda "accurate" (best so far, excluding the D2C microscale castle). This "new" or "rebooted" approach is clearly meant for play for KFOLS. I like the minifigs mostly, the rest is just not appealing to me that much. I would love to have Hogwarts modular line at the same design standard as DA has. It could be collectable and also a fun way to get full castle at some point (or most of it). Like: 1. Grat Hall 2. Great tower with courtyard 3. Astronomy Tower 4. Greenhouses 5. Clock Tower 6. Bell towers etc. There could be 1-3 teachers (every time unique ones), ghosts, and some students in every set. It's just a wish and most probably not realistic at all, but you know... never say never :D I hope for more non-Hogwarts sets, in a proper ways, such as Hogwarts Express, Shrieking Shack, (obviously more DA shops + Gringotts), Ministry of Magic, Malfoy Manor, Quidditch Championship etc.. :)
