  1. Its Haberdashery :) I think that the sign is enough. Luckily the building could be easily moded to fit medieval town street.
  2. Apartments ate boring really… anyway, Have you build it already? I am saving my judgement after I get my hands on it.
  3. Based on the designer interview (check YT), all decorations are prints. YAY! :)
  4. I am confused about the reasons why Lego wont make a regular line of sets - playsets or dioramas. Just why??? They have to know that AFOL community craves for them, yet they come out with some nonsense subtheme… It better to be good.
  5. I am still a little bit skeptical about whether it's legit or fake. I wish it to be true. Because if it is, I will definitely buy it and mod it to fit in my medieval town. This perfect, innovative way to approach a modular theme, and I am glad, they went that extra mile to make it busy and interesting at the same time. I am looking forward to more photos, especially of the backside of the building and interiors.
  6. “Helms of the Deep” 😂😂😂🤦🏻‍♂️
  7. I will be happy with basically anything thats minifig compatible as long as there will be some new characters or at least old ones in new guise :)
  8. Well yeah. Sure. Now back to the main topic shall we? :)
  9. Thats only half true. I dont consider that small “vignette” or “battle pack” as a Rivendell. The set itself is named “Council of Elrond” and depicts only one scene (IMO badly). So technically, we have proper Rovendell for the first time. It doesnt apply on Helms Deep or Bag End since they were proper and in scale reasonable depiction of the original sites… So. Thats that :)
  10. I Guess Minas Tirith. Since they mentioned tht playscale sets are more fun (see the interview with Rivendell designers), I think TLG go big, probably full slice of Minas Tirith with 800+ USD price point. I think the set will be more focused on overall shape like Barad Dur, since its extremely large. So detailed gate, courtyard and tower with theone room accesible and playable with minifigs and the rest will be scaled down significantly. My guess is 7-8000 pcs. + 20 or so minifigs. Some orcs (perhaps 4-6), Witch King, Theoden, Eowyn, Pipin, Merry, Gandalf, Faramir, Denethor, 2-4 Gondorian soldiers, 1-2 Rangers, maybe 1-2 Rohan soldiers or Army of the Dead soldiers, and possibly Fell Beast + couple of horses. Bag End and Helms Deep was already done decade ago. And from what we know, they would go with the path of other unreleased never before seen sets… Edoras is not as iconic as Minas Tirith and Minas Morgul or other Mordor sets doesnt make sense, with Barad Dur released this year. So big conflict scene is inevitable :) Not sure. I think they arent committed to anything in this regard. But you know… meat is back on the menu 😀
  11. I guess that first rumours will be around at the end of the year… Depends on how TLG manage to guard their secrets from leakers. LAN members will know around Septwmber/October (same as last two times). Possibly we would get more details during January/February 2025 ;)
  12. He just copy & pasted previous statements and rumors.
  13. Fellbeast GWP poped up… only one fig - nazgul.
  14. Thats a huge meh on a first glance… I need to absorb all the emotions right now. But the first one is dissapointment.
  15. Eldorado for sure, since it was the main fortress released along with BSB. :)
  16. I am hoping euther for a Trading Post redesign with small trading ship or a Bluecoats galleon. But honestly, Trading post or some port would be better, since the newest BSB is armless (without serious moding). It would be unfair to battle the ship without cannons (place to put them) ;)
  17. Its just posted as a "rumor" on IG. Acording to that, it is set 10320, 18+ with 2509 pcs weirldy priced as 214,99 USD. Only info available besides those numbers is that it should be under ICONS theme. PErhaps some imperial ship or a Port?
  18. I also thought that its Orthanc, but it could be Minas Morgul or even Cirith Ungol, since being the Orthanc would be serious geographic mistake.
  19. Reviews are out... Its funny how all those "main" channels drop the review video at the same time :D Besides Ashnflash and Solid Bricks Studio, all of them are quite annoying. Especially Emosaurus :D
  20. I would buy such set :D But then I would be happier to buy Rivendell as a whole as it is right now :) BTW: comparison to HP Castle segments is out of place, not just for the reasons mentioned above, but also that those segments in HP line arent as impressive design-vise, not to mention that we will. probably get multiple same characters (Gazebo scene with Arwen and Aragorn, possibly Elrond; Council scene with Gimli, Legolas, Boromir and frankly most of the Fellowship if not all + Elrond. Then Study/tower scene with again Elrond and Gandalf, possibly Bilbo and Frodo... Ufff thank you but no thank you :) I was thinking about all those nitpicks and also the price discussion and came to conclusion... To me, it is must buy, but I can wait for a little while since the GWP isn't desirable for me... It is still the most beautiful set Lego ever released, even though there are some things I don't quite like (aside from the price)... To me, it would be great for 450 USD, and without any stickers. Then I wouldn't say a thing. But then, we are not living in a perfect world arent we? :D
  21. Hogwarts castle is really nice-looking display piece. But I personally don't like the open back and I wouldn't enjoy stacking a pile of tan bricks... It has a ton of small pieces and nothing interesting frankly...but I get that many fans love it. I would also like Rivendell for 400 USD. I don't like the price one bit. There will be discount at some point, at least from secondary market :)
  22. You are comparing sets you bought in a discount with set for the retail price? :D Be at least fair. You can compare it to the Hogwarts Express or Razor Crest, both of them are recent sets for the same price point. Ninjago city sets are good for the price-per-part ratio, but honestly? NCG is a huge disappointment for me design-wise. 500 USD is a lot of money, but then, it will be possible to buy it outside the Lego shop with a significant discount - I am sure of it.
  23. It could be badged as ICONS same as Rivendell. My point is that Bag end is possible and if Lego makes more sets from Middle-earth then its more or less probable, since it is important location. Whether they include characters from The Hobbit or LotR is debatable, and as I said, from my point of view, it depends on scale. There is only few LotR characters that make sense to be included. On the other hand, there are handfull of characters from the Hobbit that fits in here. Either way, I believe that Bag end will be reinteoduced…
  24. That depends on the scale of the set. As D2C I would expect all Thorins company + Bilbo and Gandalf (ergo 15 figs in total). As a smaller version playset (similar to the last one) I guess they include just Bilbo, Frodo, Sam and Gandalf possibly with horse or cart.
