Many people asked for the possibility to use Duplo parts in Studio, so I created this parts pack (including connectivity): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1A1gE522bMrcER3hYjqd0CLbGPrvSlvoE To use it, unzip it and place its contents in your C:\Users\{your username}\AppData\Local\Stud.io . Duplo parts will then be available in Custom Parts palette of Studio. More details on custom parts in Studio forum: http://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=965&p=2615&hilit=customparts&sid=a0487a9d7213c77248f4ce56001e5072#p2615 Caveats: - Many Duplo parts are missing here (and are not available in LDraw library anyway) - Studio doesn't provide specific connectivity for Duplo, so I had to make do with simple stud or axle connexions. - Compatibility with regular LEGO is limited (you can place bricks over Duplo, but Duplo on bricks doesn't position correctly and generate collisions). - Some parts create unwanted collisions, eg. Duplo wheel on axle. Problem is that Studio part designer generate collision data automatically, I have no control on this. Turn collision off when this happens.

LDD 4.3.12 update could be possible??
Philo replied to CorvusA's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
If only this given link was not a big pile of crap... SR3D builder, given as the top choice, has not been updated since 2014 and will not be in the future since is author passed away, BlockCad has not been updated either for 10 years. MLCad is not much better in that regard, LDraw is not a model building program but a library of parts, Brickutils or LEGO EV3 software have nothing to do with virtual model creation. And two of the most meaningful alternative programs (LDCad and Studio) are missing from the list. Fortunately, Mecabricks and LeoCAD are part of it! -

Actually I like the result, eg. with a low density of grey over white (71,15:10). Did you improve top covering with randonm height option? it seems to look even better now ;) -

Perhaps not perfect, but definitely better! The results with a limited max slope are pretty nice. -
Something like MLCAD buffers in LeoCAD ?
Philo replied to EdoNork's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
AFAIK buffer exchange is not supported in LeoCAD. You might want to have a try with LDCad, even more powerful (connectivity, flexible parts, dimensions/angle measurements) than LeoCAD. It also supports buffer exchange. http://www.melkert.net/LDCad -

Another possible addition would be some cliff height variation. While the flat top is useful if you want to build something there, it looks pretty un-natural in itself (while the rest of the cliff and shore really looks great). Some green "pebbling" perhaps? -

Really great (and very fast)! Could you make a post on LDraw forum? -

@SylvainLSResult looks awesome, but the Download me! remains greyed out (Chrome v.77)? -

I used control sticks to hold z16 together. As indicated by Zerobricks a differential case would have worked too, but more bulky. Write-up of this clock: http://philohome.com/cuckoo/cuckoo.htm (French version here: http://www.techlug.fr/Forum/topic5228.html )- 5,466 replies

Nice! Out of curiosity, is it buildable? (I mean, are all elements properly attached?) -

[APP] BrickController2
Philo replied to imurvai's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
More on calibration of servos... I built @grohl 42099 B model (racing truck). But this model doesn't include an index finger ensuring that centered steering occurs at multiple of 90° shaft position. So BC2 (or official app for that matter) doesn't auto center properly. For this kind of model, it would be better to center steering in the middle of end of travel of steering rack. Fortunately the manual calibration does the trick for now ;)- 1,310 replies

Don't do that! Not only the voltage is too low to properly power the device, but if it did, the discharged batteries would start to charge in reverse and that would damage them. Question is, how do you turn it on without a phone? If the hub is not paired (blinking white), it shuts down itself after a few seconds. Otherwise, a paired hub can be powered off by maintaining the green button pressed during 8 seconds or so. Now I agree that LEGO app is perfectible ;)

Philo replied to imurvai's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Awesome! Minor gripe: I'd like the calibration screen to have a validation button. Currently I have to perform calibration, come back to controller action screen and not forget to use check button instead of back arrow. A bit misleading...- 1,310 replies

LDD 4.3.12 update could be possible??
Philo replied to CorvusA's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Chance is low. We value backwards compatibility a lot, and any evolution scheme must take this into account and provide significant benefit. See for example this discussion: https://forums.ldraw.org/showthread.php?tid=14432&pid=14432#pid14432
