  1. Hi guys! Welcome back to my new MOC, this time I built the M270D1 MLRS. Enjoy! The M270 MLRS weapons system is collectively known as the M270 MLRS Self-Propelled Loader/Launcher (SPLL). The system can fire rockets or MGM-140 ATACMS missiles, which are contained in interchangeable pods. Each pod contains six standard rockets or one guided ATACMS missile; the two types cannot be mixed. The LLM can hold two pods at a time, which are hand-loaded using an integrated winch system. All twelve rockets or two ATACMS missiles can be fired in under a minute. One launcher firing twelve rockets can completely blanket one square kilometer with submunitions. M270D1 includes a new fire control system that allows for firing GPS-guided rockets, such as GMLRS and ATACMS. The update package consists of a new computer, locating device, GPS antenna, launch control unit, displays and remote control device.
  2. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, BEHOLD: The Mighty MAZ 7310 Uragan Cargo Truck, in LEGO! This massive set, which I have designed over the course of two years, stands almost ten inches tall, two feet long, and is comprised of almost 7,000 pieces. I sat at my computer for hours a day, sometimes, surfing the web, looking at blueprints, building, deleting, building some more, etc. And now, finally, I can reveal my masterpiece to the world! Bwa-ha-ha! Okay, anyway, I have designed my set for maximum playability, stuffing it full of all sorts of awesome goodies, like opening hood, doors, tailgate, and utility boxes. A removable roof, folding rear seats, free-spinning wheels (including the steering wheel), two Diesel engine options, a generator, compressor, radiator, Master Mechanic's Toolkit, fuel and water drums, 12v batteries, large cargo container, winch, wide-load flags, roof racks, warning beacon, fog lights, two sets of mirrors, lightbars, and more! (Whew! I'm out of breath!) Now, for the real machine: The MAZ 7310 (Minsk Automobile Plant, in Russian), was a large 8-wheeled Missile Transport truck built in the 1950s and 60s. Soon after, people started using them as cargo trucks, tankers, tow trucks, and airport fire trucks. Alright, that's it! Thank you all for looking at my LEGO creation! If you have any questions, comment, I'll do my best to respond ASAP. Happy building and have a great day! Update: Also, some of you may have noticed that the cab of the real vehicle is slightly longer. This is true, I had to shorten the LEGO version out of necessity, as the extra length could’ve affected my MOC’s stability and structural integrity. I suppose I could probably figure it out eventually, but I like it how it is. Thanks for understanding!
  3. [GBW] – Troop Movement - Erotema – Missile launcher crew frightened Grid Q9 (world) - D7 (Studica) A Xenor missile launcher is in the middle of Xenor...unescorted...probably ready to launch a missile. A test missile? A nuclear missile? Nobody knows. 1-Xenor missile launcher arrives by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr The Commander leaves the truck and confirms the coordinates. A sinister grin is on his face. Will this be a test or the beginning of a real launch? Nobody knows. 2-Xenor troops check the position by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr However, a noise is heard…what is it? Hell! A Typhoon, the state of the art of air fighters! 8 by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Knowing the dangerous of such an aircraft, of course they are panicked! Their berets drop due to the blast of the powerful turbofans. 3-Xenor troops are taken by surprise by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr So they decide to abort the launching and escape as rabbits. 5-Let´s go home!! by green helmet spanish AFOL, en Flickr Enjoy!
  4. Hello all! This is not my latest creation, but I thought I'd share it anyhow. I built this late 2011 but never got around to post it here (until now) This fall I scrapped most of this and used some in another military MIOC that I hopefully will post soon. This build just took a turn of it self and was not what I wanted to build form the beginning. ( I was going to build a civilan truck but had my tan brick's in the living room.) It ended up as a modern version of a Katyusha but with missiles instead of rockets. At the time I built it i was fairly pleased with it. Now I look at it as a reminder that I have improved my MOCs by listening to other Moc'ers creative feedback and and actually building not only browsing the forums I present to You the Missile launcher "Version B" its features six missiles fired from a low heat emitting tube. It has its own radar (with IFF), long rage radio link and also a optical raised view port (complete with IR / low visibility capacity) Front view Top down Driver cab, with blast prof front window, risible radar and long range antenna. Six pack full off BOOM Front with winch, and a view port (can be linked to HUD helmet.(nice to have if parked behind a shelter or behind a crest or driving in complete darkness). Thank You for watching! (Inspirational credits goes to Superkalle and thanks to AntonYmer for taking the pictures)
