Idk if I could stomach another $400+ set. Baradur sure but I also hope it's in the $250 price range

Very excited about the upcoming years thanks to the BDP, potential village, biking village etc. Going to be exciting!!! (On a side note does anyone know how I could follow specific threads so that they can pop up on my home page? It isn't easy trying to find all the different threads I try to read, I'm quite new to EB, thanks!)

Does anybody know the rough estimation of $ what these sets usually cost compared to regular sets? I'm in college next year and with the Viking village, D&D, medieval marketplace, and Baradur I need to start saving now.....
-
I'm still fairly new to the PAB game unfortunately but I was wondering, have lego castle fans ever been eating this well lol? obviously, we don't have a full-fledged theme but it's so easy to army build
-
Eh yeah but I needed Rivendell on release. I missed out on the OG sets so I bought the recent Brickheadz and Rivendell the secondit was available
-
I saw the skull dragon on its own for $55 but said no cause of rivendell 😞
-
Anyone know if I can contact customer service to add some extra parts I forgot to add to my order?
-
crap might have to pick that dragon up now lol. I was on the fence since i was saving up for rivendell but might get it in a few months now XD My top ten: 1. Brick beard's bounty (2009) 2. LKC 3. Rivendell 4. PoBB 5. MK ultra secret Hq 6. Portal of Atlantis 7. Ultra Agents Water HQ 8. Lone Ranger Silve Mine Shootout 9. Arkham Asylum 2013 10. Arctic Ice Breaker 2014 Would be almost all LOTR sets if I had more than a scattered shelob and the pirate ambush I converted for my tcastle trolls XD
-
I wouldn't mind if it was a rerelease of PoBB. Past rerelease have also had a different piece count from the original. I would get two, one to keep as an island form since my OG one is in ship form and the second copy I would make into an imperial flagship

Yeah just jammed all of my figures into the display even some OG ones :)))) It doesn't fit unfortunately and I can only adjust my shelf up and down :( oh well! I have all my figures from that set on display so I'll just convert that ship into a bad guy ship for my pirates Finished my set finally!!! (Only need to finish that slim tree but I'm at work). Overall a beautiful set but looks much larger because of the huge roof. The set doesn't feel like $500 though. It's huge but the gazebo and tower part each feel like $100 or less while the main section feels like a $200 set if not less. I get why the set is so expensive and it is mesmerizing but it just doesn't FEEL like $500+ tax.

My rivendelll display is being attacked by mordor orcs, shelob, nazgul so the ship would just be carrying them to battle XD
-
I think PoBB is a great introduction set for new fans. On the aftermarket pirate ships cost an arm and a Lego so I was very thankful for PoBB. I personally don't have it in shipwreck mode but im glad I have the possibility to put it in either mode.

The double holed soft fabric rip very easily. I personally haven't had issues with putting capes figures on horses. Plus the strached ones aren't as flimsy and all over the place
-
Your display is beautiful! I also want to display my pirate ambush by my Rivendell but it's a tight fit on my shelf. Do you think modding the back of the ship and removing the "bat wings" so it fits is worth it? Or is it ruining the model?

I wish to know too! Scratchy is better all day every day! Soft fabric capes is one of the worst downgrades Lego has ever done!!!!
