LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

Recommended Posts

The large version of the Lego 2012 Star Wars X-Wing is fantastic: I've been at the opening of the Legoland Billund yesterday.

If you like: These are my pictures of the largest lego model worldwide, with a true X-Wing pilot, as well. ;-)

I will upload a video on sunday, too.

This could be new (but maybe false): Brickipedia says that the smallest EP7 set will be Rey's speeder, the one with 717 pieces will be a black and white X-wing, and the largest will be the Falcon.

It's just simple logic really, but I highly doubt anyone ever confirmed this. It's Disney, which means the seals are shut tight and "leaks" are what (when and where...) Disney chooses to leak.

Most of that info actually came from here. nrg said here that 75099 would cost €26,99, and Sir von Lego said here that the €26,99 set would be "the "bicycle"-thing from the Trailer". Same sort of logic goes for 75105 being the Millennium Falcon. As for 75102 being the X-wing, Jedi News said a while ago that the Millennium Falcon and the X-wing would both be a part of the wave. nrg's list had three "hero" sets, but with two of the slots taken by Rey's speeder and the Falcon, that only left 75102. The details of the X-wing's colour scheme was again from Sir von Lego's post. Hope that explains why the pages are like that :classic:

doubt it. There are almost guaranteed to be changes to the ship in some capacity that we are shown in the film, the radar dish is just one of them.

Hi

May the Force 4th exclusive minifig seems to be Admiral Yularan. I am afraid i never heard of him but it is still an OT character - not just a TCW or even worse (at least for me) Rebels character.

Any thoughts on that minifig? I doubt the demand for him is comparable to TC-4 or Revan....

Admiral Wullf Yularen appeared briefly in ANH and was expanded upon in TCW, during which he served as naval commander of Anakin Skywalker's fleet.

Given his large presence in TCW, I find him much more desirable than TC-4 and Revan. But, it's all matter of opinion.

Yularen was sitting at the conference table next to Admiral Motti, guy Vader chokes, during the discussion about the imperial senate being dissolved. Cool scene thus I am very happy to get him.

I actually think Yularen is quite a good figure to get.

The protocol droids are relatively nice as colour variations but having a senior member of the Imperial Fleet and someone who appeared in the OT as well as TCW is quite a nice figure to have, however obscure.

Better than a slight variation of an existing character, for me anyway.

I'm glad they made Yularen, It gives us a different Imperial Officer uniform we're most likely not going to get in a set anytime soon. Also it's a great base for making a custom Admiral Thrawn. :)

I don't think I care so much about Yularen's character, as this incarnation is different to how he mostly looked in TCW, but Imperial Officers are always useful, especially varients with uniquely coloured uniforms.

I'll probably try to get him when I buy the Tie Advanced, plus a couple of Shadow Troopers BP's

Perhaps when I get my UCS Tie Fighter, Yularen can pilot it, I've always respected leaders who go into battle also. On a more serious note I agree that gaining an Imperial Officer is always a welcome sight and the more variation the better!

That's very old news and Admiral Yularen may be a background character for some, but considering what passes for "background character" in SW universe, anyone who appears in one of the most iconic scenes of the whole saga wearing a stunning white imperial uniform moreover has honestly nothing "background" about him IMHO, even if we disregard what an important figure in the hierarchy of the Empire he is and the role he had in the CW.

I, for one, was jumping of joy when his release was announced as Motti and Tagge are quite easy to represent in DS conference room by generic imperial officers (different hair piece perhaps), but Yularen, Yularen is quite unique. Not to mention, as someone already pointed out, the potential for making Admiral Thrawn in different MOCs. Because whatever Disney says/does, Thrawn will always be as much part of the SW universe as Vader is to the true fans of the saga  .

yeah i'm pleased with Yularen, another good variant and easily modded to beef up an Imperial army.

I would have preferred Yularen in TCW outfit, since we do not have any Republican Admirals. And Republican non-Clone personnel is scarce anyway.

The ANH outfit is nice too. I think this one will stay exclusive, because there are very few sets in which he'd make sense. And I do not see any Death Star Briefing set coming.

I like Yularen, he'll go well in the Death Star Conference room. A TCW variant would have been good as he he did appear in quite a few episodes. But I'd much rather prefer an all new figure rather than an update like the Hoth Han from 2013.

TCW Yularen would've been nice...

ANH Yularen is neat, but inaccurate (he wears black pants in the film--you see him and another Imp in an identical uniform, but with his rank badge rotated 180 degrees, walking the hall when Luke & Han are escorting Chewie towards the detention level... they also wear black caps, but the one guy is clearly Yularen).

I'd rather they have gone all-out and made Grand Admiral Thrawn, which would've simply needed a different rank badge print and a new head (plus one of the numerous black hair pieces). A rank badge sticker will be enough to promote the Yularen torso to Grand Admiral status (maybe add gold epaulets), tho, and then he can be Grand Admiral Pellaeon, the Old Man of the Empire in the Legends EU. :sweet:

It just occurred to me that TC-4 could be a giveaway at Celebration Anaheim next month. Lego gave out the prototype Boba Fett minifig at Celebration V in 2010, after all.

You are right, I think. The black trousers are easily done, and even a Grand Admiral is not much of a problem. Just remember how messed up rank insignia in the Star Wars universe are.

I for one am glad that they did a canon minifig, rather than a Legends minifig even if Thrawn&Pellaeon are cool.

Wait, let's not rush things, I was absolutely delighted ANH Yularen was being released, but Thrawn?! Thrawn would start an AFOL war on the release day in all Lego stores concerned  TLG would never realease one because it would be a safety hazard, not because he's not Donald canon!

After Revan, I'd guess Thrawn would be the most-wanted EU figure (not that there aren't dozens of others I'd also like... Darth Malak, Darth Krayt, Cade Skywalker, Zayne Carrick, Darth Talon, Darth Nihl, Darth Wyyrlok, Morlish Veed, Pellaeon, Jacen Solo, Darth Caedus, Jaina Solo, Baron Fel, Jagged Fel, any Imperial Knights, Bastila Shan, T3-M4, HK-47, Talon Karrde, Mara Jade, Corran Horn, Tycho Celchu, Piggy, Rukh, C'baoth, Whistler, Deliah Blue, Morrigan Corde, Kol Skywalker, Ania Solo, Marasiah Fel, non-TCW Quinlan Vos, Villie, K'Kruhk, Canderous Ordo as Mandalore, Visas Marr, Brienne, Mission Vao, Zaalbar, etc)

Did you recite all those names from your memory Venkefedo? That’s just impressive EU fandom. Unfortunately you’ll have to wait till forever for any of those dudes to be made an exclusive fig.

And I agree with you Spiderlord; Thrawn would be a safety hazard release. I know I won’t hesitate to hurt someone to get one for myself.
