A Exo Force robot arm+a horn piece of any size would be ideal as a tail I think.

Has anyone heard if the Furty Fox minifigure is not coming to America or what? He was in the LEGO Catalog I got in the mail weeks ago, but has never been in stock. And the Speedorz are being clearanced out at every store I go to. Will we not get Furty at all here?

Lego S@H has that Speedorz set as well as the Crug and Grizzam sets available on November 1st. I would imagine they will be available in Lego stores and other retailers on or shortly after that date. Most of my Targets here in St. Louis haven't even got the Skinnet, Gorzan, and Lagravis Speedorz sets. I believe most of the clearancing you should be seeing is the wave 1 sets.

I am surprised that they havent lowered the price on the new speedorz sets given that the old ones have been going on clearance and sale on lego and other retail stores. Not to mention lego giving away started kits free earlier in the year also.

The first two waves of Speedorz sold well for the first months each wave was available, after that, everyone had what they wanted (or so it seems) and now they are discounted. One thing is for certain. Nobody wants Lion or Wolf Speedorz. I used to see CHI Battles every where with CHI Waterfalls usually mixed in. Most stores have finally sold out of them, but Jungle Gates and Ice Tower now pile on the shelves.

If this is what the scorpion tail is going to look like I wonder how they will fit into their vehicles.

Aww, don't get me started on that subject ... one thing's for sure, scorpion dudes won't drive any compact cars. Convertibles, maybe. The tail in the picture is just a mock-up though, final version will vary.

Don't worry guys, I'm not a minifig designer, this is just an idea of how it could be attached based upon the picture Karus found. I also hope that the actual scorpions won't have such a prominent tail.

In my opinion I think they should make a custom mould for the scorpion tail, although that would probably be extremely specialised and rather useless. I still fail to see who on LEGO's design team thought that arachnids being made in a bipedal, humanoid, minifigure form.

Technically the 2013 wave took place in an African Wilderness setting (jungles, swamps, mountains, plains). I'd assume that the story would remain there as there is plenty to explore.

For those of you who haven't seen it yet, I made a Review for the Lion CHI Temple that you can find here.

I would not be entirely surprised if we're going to see a large mammoth

A dark lion! I like the character with different colours than their fellow tribesmen, like Eglor.

I hope we get a albino raven.

Looks... interesting. I guess I do have to admire the amount of variety in colours of the Chima minifigure parts, since that might come in handy.

Well, that throws out the idea of shadow wind being Lavertus, and he looks.. strange.

Oh well, this is better than nothing, and it's most definitly Lavertus, look at the improvised knee pads, and the tanned effect is probably from the desert.

As much as i like your find I feel it has lost some of its lionness, To the untrained eye a dark lego lion could look like any number of animals, A mole perhaps? Nice find anyway.

More like a bear, really.
