Any particualr reason for using old motors instead of PF?

Probably for their high speed operation which makes the control of the simulator more rapid. You could do the same thing with PF but it would require gearing.

The main reason was that I run out of PF medium motors. It was a little tricky to make these fit, I needed to place the middle one upside down.

When I started this MOC I tried something with angle connectors, but that turned out way to big. I'm quite happy with this solution myself as well.
