MOC Hogwarts Castle

Recommended Posts

Mr Offset aka Dave Scalone, has kindly given permission for me to share his amazing Hogwarts castle built over the last year evolving at each Australian event. It sits on a footprint of 25 baseplates and looks amazing! Complete with Hogsmeade station and beautifully scultped towers.

WOW that's amazing.

I must try and get back to Brickvention in the future (biggest problem is that airfares from Perth cost lots of money :( )

Oh That is a really impressive build!

If only my Lego parts were not mostly in storage

on the other side of the world *sigh*. I want to build something now!

That is really beautiful.

Lots of good techniques there taken 1 or 2 steps beyond what I've seen others (and myself) do.

Wow, what an epic creation - massive, beautiful, and highly-accurate rendition of Hogwarts Castle that is very true to the movies.

Incredibly massive in detailed scale! I could just stand there and admire the whole castle! This is definitely one of the eye opening attraction in this Aussie event. :sweet:

Wonderful creation! Any chance that you could acquire the piece count? I would love to know how big this moc truly is.

David thought it had 15000+ parts, 200+ hours of work from memory. He is planning on taking some better pics in more of a "studio" setting soon.
