I Scream Clone Posted January 27, 2011 Mr Offset aka Dave Scalone, has kindly given permission for me to share his amazing Hogwarts castle built over the last year evolving at each Australian event. It sits on a footprint of 25 baseplates and looks amazing! Complete with Hogsmeade station and beautifully scultped towers. jonwil Posted January 27, 2011 WOW that's amazing. I must try and get back to Brickvention in the future (biggest problem is that airfares from Perth cost lots of money :( )

Tohst Posted January 27, 2011 That is really beautiful. Lots of good techniques there taken 1 or 2 steps beyond what I've seen others (and myself) do. -Tohst

WhiteFang Posted January 28, 2011 Incredibly massive in detailed scale! I could just stand there and admire the whole castle! This is definitely one of the eye opening attraction in this Aussie event.
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 28, 2011 Wow. This makes the official set look so incredibly inadequate. The overall shape and all the little details are so stunning.
Dr Rod Posted January 28, 2011 Wonderful creation! Any chance that you could acquire the piece count? I would love to know how big this moc truly is. David thought it had 15000+ parts, 200+ hours of work from memory. He is planning on taking some better pics in more of a "studio" setting soon.
