Davey Posted July 1, 2009 Hey Crystal! Welcome to Eurobricks. It's great to see another FFOL (Female Fan of LEGO) cruising the Eurobricks forum. I'm sure my wife Stacy will stop by to say hi and introduce herself. Do you happen to have some links to pictures of your LEGO MOC's? I'm sure the Eurobricks community would love to check them out. Again, welcome to Eurobricks!!! -Dave ToT-LUG

Izzy Posted July 1, 2009 Hello Crystal, Welcome to EB. It seems you have some freaky similarities to a member on here called Peppermint M. Hope you enjoy your times here. Cheers, (from another FFOL) IZ.
Luke McAwesome Posted July 1, 2009 It seems you have some freaky similarities to a member on here called Peppermint M. As far as I can see, the only things in common are that she's a girl and she's got the same head-hair combo on her avatar. Oh well. Welcome to Eurobricks, Crystal! Captain Zuloo Posted July 1, 2009 Fantastic! It's great to have another Pirates fan on board! Are you familiar with the Classic-Pirates.com blog? Welcome to Eurobricks!
Izzy Posted July 1, 2009 As far as I can see, the only things in common are that she's a girl and she's got the same head-hair combo on her avatar. And the fact that they are practically the same age and are both from England???
Crystal Posted July 1, 2009 Fantastic! It's great to have another Pirates fan on board! Are you familiar with the Classic-Pirates.com blog?Welcome to Eurobricks! I've bumped into it every now and then searching for LEGO Pirates. Its very organized
Peppermint_M Posted July 1, 2009 And the fact that they are practically the same age and are both from England??? I am from Wales, Ms Iz. You know, that bit what sticks off the side of the UK and has the Rugby, the Welsh Language and Doctor Who/Torchwood. Next door to England though. South Wales to be precise. I seem to be the only AFOL in the area sadly. Hello Crystal and Welcome to Eurobricks. Go nag the moderators to add you to the group (stops the guys thinking you are also a guy, a problem I have had on several other forums...) it's a topic in the Website and Forums forum. There are a few other FFOLs knocking around the place. Enjoy your time here.
Stacy_ToT-LUG Posted July 1, 2009 Crystal - a warm welcome to Eurobricks! It is always exciting to see another FFOL joining the online community, especially one with such a variety of interests! Can't wait to hear more from you and see your creations :) ~Stacy ToT LUG
DoctorDude234 Posted July 1, 2009 Hey. Welcome to Eurobricks, land of FOLs. I always wanted to go to England... But anyway, I hope you enjoy chatting with us. We always welcome a new member. I hope you bring us tons of new MOCs. I personally enjoy shamelessly pirating mocs, or at least techniques. Just kidding. I copy Lego's techniques! Out of a curiousity, do you recognize my avatar? Luke McAwesome Posted July 1, 2009 And the fact that they are practically the same age and are both from England? True. Then again, I didn't know either of those. OBJECTION, YOUR HONOR!
andy16806 Posted July 1, 2009 Welcome to EB. looking forward to see some of your creations. I'm going to London in August. Where is the best place to buy Lego?

Quarryman Posted July 3, 2009 Welcome to EB! Looking forward to seeing your stuff, both MOCs and sets And, next year we're having a special EB event in Windsor. And the fact that they are practically the same age and are both from England??? But Peppermint M is 8.09% older (yes, I did calculate that)
Peppermint_M Posted July 3, 2009 Welcome to EB! Looking forward to seeing your stuff, both MOCs and sets And, next year we're having a special EB event in Windsor. But Peppermint M is 8.09% older (yes, I did calculate that) Yeah, I have a three hour drive to get there Crystal lives in London which is rather close. I live about an hour from Cardiff.... Age calculations? ho hum. Math nerdage...
Luke McAwesome Posted July 3, 2009 Math nerdage... I fail to disagree. Math is too hard. But anyway, I think we can all tell that Crystal is not Peppermint_M.
Peppermint_M Posted July 3, 2009 Sockpuppetry may be an interesting sideline, but my interest in Pirates is passing, and I would never go Navy... Proof of uniquness! (If there was ever any doubt) Now we await the Windsor trip next year to confirm that dopplegangers are not prevelant. Please forgive my verbosity, late at night I can become more random. Izzy Posted July 3, 2009 But anyway, I think we can all tell that Crystal is not Peppermint_M. If you are insinuating that I was trying to say they are the same person, you couldn't be more wrong! I was just pointing out that there were similarities (that still stand) Between our new member Crystal here, and our older and much respected one Peppermint M. I thought it was a good thing. It is hard enough to find friends in this world, let alone someone who accepts a "Lego loving adult". So with a few extra things in common I was just commenting on how cool it is. I would love nothing more to have a girl my age, that lives near me show up on EB.
Luke McAwesome Posted July 3, 2009 If you are insinuating that I was trying to say they are the same person, you couldn't be more wrong! I didn't mean that you were implying that, I said that to representative for me and the other people who thought that Crystal is Peppermint_M. Sorry for the mix-up. Peppermint_M Posted July 4, 2009 Ah well, we will all meet up in Windsor next year. So that will be fine. Unless we have scared Crystal away... The nearness is a bit of a stretch... We are both from the UK but Cardiff and London are rather far apart (from a British perspective anyway) but hey, proof I'm not the only girl in the UK who is classed as adult and plays with Lego! Princess Storm Posted July 5, 2009 Well, I'm also a FFOL from London (though also half Welsh, oddly!), I'd better make sure my avatar has a different head/hair from you guys!
