Im a brickmaster. Posted December 23, 2014 Thanks for the early review! I don't know much about the rebals show at all, but I can say that the over all design of the walker really appeals to me and the minifigs look top notch. I also like how the spring shooters are pretty much hidden in the frame, nice job!
Koenta Posted December 23, 2014 Looks really nice. One complaint is the back it is a pitty that Lego didn't use any plates greebling there.
Tariq j Posted December 23, 2014 Great review! Thanks for doing it. I'm a big fan of this set, the minifigures are good, as is the parts selection. I like the piece used in the cockpit to secure the minifigure in place. I would've liked to see some panels in the cockpit though rather than translucent red pieces, that said however they are useful pieces.
Darth Malgus Posted December 23, 2014 Thanks for the review. Cannot wait for the 2015 sets.
arc Posted December 23, 2014 Pretty good first review! This looks pretty great, I probably won't be getting it due to budget constraints. (Bionicle) but still, very nice set. To me it kinda looks like the missing link between when the at-st evolved into the at-at. Also, I know the rebels stormtroopers get a lot of hate, but I really like them. Thanks for the review! Delta62 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) Nice review, I havnt bought a star wars lego set in a while. I might pick this one up. Edited December 24, 2014 by Delta62
Flieger Posted December 24, 2014 Thanks for the review! I have two questions: - What is the driver standing on, when the hatch is open and he is looking out? - Could you show the face of Kallus without helmet, please? My only complaint is that the colours of both, Kallus's and the drivers's uniforms are wrong. Kallus's uniform is way too dark and should be more dark olive than black, and the drivers's uniforms are too bright and should be more greyish compared to what we saw in the series. irispen Posted December 24, 2014 Whats behind the printed 4x4 dome? Is that 2x4 yellow plate? Im planning to replace that.
BrickTamland Posted December 24, 2014 Great first review! As a huge walker fan its great to get one thats not a redesign, or one of those tiny battlepack vechicles.

Smitty500 Posted December 25, 2014 Awesome! I am really looking forward to buy this, but is it really $50.00 US? I was hoping more around $30.00. Also, I was wondering how the hip section for the legs work, does it have a stiff turning axis to it?
namioik Posted December 25, 2014 Awesome! I am really looking forward to buy this, but is it really $50.00 US? I was hoping more around $30.00. I mean, it fits the 10 cents per piece count and has 4 figures so for a licensed theme you can't beat that. But I guess Lego can never satisfy everyone
Flieger Posted December 25, 2014 Here are the pics of Kallus- His head would be good for a steam-punk character. Thanks! Indeed his face printing is really nice, they captured his looks and spirit well.
TheBrickHitHouse Posted December 25, 2014 Great set, really impressed. Odd that Lego didn't include stickers for the controls - can't think of a reason they wouldn't have. And why do only 3 of the 4 figures have leg printing? I just can't understand Lego at times

But I guess Lego can never satisfy everyone This is true. I just had that price in mind when I saw the first images of it. it did not appear to be this big or complex, but new sets are getting so much more advanced than what they used to be. namioik Posted December 29, 2014 (edited) I built this set and I think the two rubber pieces holding the both sides of the face is a bit stretched out therefore making the set somewhat tight for entire top hatch to open and close. Does anyone have the same situation? Is this right? -------------- Never mind I got it! I built the back a stud too long! joebiwankenobi Posted December 29, 2014 Thanks for the early review! How tall is this next to the most recent recreation of the AT-AT? I'm picturing the two of them standing next to each other looking silly due to the scale differences.
hjmediastudios Posted December 29, 2014 (edited) The legs are about 2" shorter than the AT-AT; its cockpit is a little larger than the AT-AT's "head;" it doesn't look out of place as an escort-type walker or heavy walker, especially as both are built in the same style, although if scale differences really bother you the most recent AT-ST is probably a better bet for you. Knightsword Posted December 31, 2014 Great reveiw, shame on Lego for forgetting that they already made a AT-DP pilot helmet (Ezra's from the Phantom set) that didn't resort to needing a printed head.
Hellbelly Posted December 31, 2014 It's a different helmet. Ezra's is an Imperial Cadet Helmet (the same one he wears in "Breaking Ranks).
darththeling Posted December 31, 2014 Thanks for the review and pics. This is a really nice looking walker. One question - how snug are the AT-DP drivers sitting in their seats? The cockpit looks good. Actually I'm not crazy about the AT-DP helmets on the show but I dig the minifigs! Good stuff. Awesome facial hair for Kallus! Knightsword Posted January 1, 2015 It's a different helmet. Ezra's is an Imperial Cadet Helmet (the same one he wears in "Breaking Ranks). I meant the mold opposed to the paint job.
GuyDudeMan27 Posted January 1, 2015 I meant the mold opposed to the paint job. The mold wouldn't really work. The way they did it is actually very accurate.
mrpinache Posted July 4, 2015 (edited) hi, i need some help...when i atach the pod to the place where the legs are placed, the small piece that unites the pod to the legs is loos from the bottom, so the top of the walker just moves around freely, wich is different from every video review that i have seen (where they can rotate the pod but its not loose) the small piece that serves as the axis isnt staying locked on the bottom piece and i have reassembled it all and still its the same :\ help! edit: sorry, i found out what went wrong...didnt push hard enough :D Edited July 4, 2015 by mrpinache
