A day at the old windmill

Recommended Posts

Built for this year's CCCXI for A Child's Life category and my second freebuild for Nocturnus.

This old windmill is owned by the father Erald. The landscape is pretty grim and not much fertile. Growing wheat and making flour is not easy. Erald, together with his two sons trying to survive in this anything but friendly land which frightens sons.

The Robin as Scarecrow made me laugh. That piece of chain as door handle is inspired, but it wouldn't work for an EB contest.

This is exactly how I envision Nocty to look like. I would definitely stay away from that swamp if I was that kid!

Such a beauty! To bad it doesn´t stand in Avalonias green countrysides!

Great landscaping as well! Fits perfect to Nocturnus!

I love the black plants with those orange stings. If they are plants at all..

I really like the windmill and how old it looks. Also, the groundwork is awesome. Scary but awesome :) Thanks for sharing.

Perfect Nocturnus landscape :thumbup:The wear and tear on the windmill is also excellent, I like the vines peeking through some of the holes, and the spider web :classic:

Very good work with the overall feeling here, and a lot of details which also increase the creepiness

Good luck in the contest!

All of your plants are amazing! I especially like the large red flower and the tan flower/mushrooms made with the horn and technic piece. Beautiful all-around!
