Tinker Bell is an extremely popular character, originally created by J. M. Barrie, and currently owned by the Walt Disney Company. I believe fans of Disney and LEGO would love to build this rendition of her. In my concept model, her arms, legs, head, and wings can be moved to achieve various poses.

I had thought about buying the pieces to build Tinker Bell in real life, but most of her 199 pieces do not yet exist in the colors I chose--such as the Light Nougat (a.k.a. Light Flesh) in her head, arms, and legs. If my concept of Tinker Bell were to be produced, it might be possible to use Brick Yellow (a.k.a. Tan), a more common color, in place of Light Nougat. However, after trying that in LEGO Digital Designer, I noticed that Tinker Bell's skin looked unnatural. In real life, Brick Yellow might look better than it does in LEGO Digital Designer. While designing my concept, I tried to preserve a realistic appearance while still allowing for movement of joints. The arms and head were especially challenging. Although my concept has brick-built eyes, I think custom decals would look better.

Nice render! Perhaps her eyes would look better printed directly on the 1x1 bricks rather than on the 1x1 round tiles.

Thank you for your attempts at improving my concept. I appreciate them very much.

To be honest, I liked your eye decals/textures better. If they were printed directly on the face (go back to my original head design, remove the 1x1 TECHNIC bricks and the white pegs within them, replace those bricks with regular 1x1 bricks, and put eye decals/textures on those bricks), I think that would be ideal.

BTW, nice forest background! I wish LDD had something that good.

Looking better!

The version on the left has the best coloring and smoothness of texture. I think the eyes still need a little more shrinking and spacing further apart though (make them fit completely within the 1x1 bricks; this will eliminate the STAMP problem too). I wonder if my brick-built lips ought to be a smiling decal too. That would make her face even friendlier, I think.

EDIT: Someone on the LEGO Ideas website had another idea for the face. Apparently it needs more "legalese." What do you think that's supposed to mean? I doubt they want her face covered in legal language. That would be silly.

EDIT 2: Someone else on the LEGO Ideas website had yet another idea for the face, this time involving the eyes introduced in the Mixels series. Even though the color of the eyes isn't correct, they look very cute on her!

EDIT 3: I edited her eyes in MSPaint.
