On June 9, 2023, the movie Jurassic Park celebrated its 30th anniversary. On this occasion I shot 5 stop-motion animations commissioned by The LEGO Group and Universal Pictures. They were published on the LEGO YouTube channel where they were quite successful. As I write this post they were viewed in total around 6 million times. Hello all! It's been a while since I've posted my animations here, but wanted to show an animation I made last year - it's based on our favourite band of pirates, under Captain Redbeard in the updated Black Seas Barracuda. They return to fight an aging Lieutenant de Martinet at an updated Sabre Island, courtesy of the design by SleeplessNight. I hope you enjoy it!

Hey, guys. Iām trying to gather LEGO parts to be used for stop motion brickfilming, but I heard using blank LEGO minifigure heads is highly advised. I was intending to do a LEGO Scooby-Doo brickfilm, but I need to know someone who can add custom face decals to blank minifigure heads for Velma Dinkley. The custom face decals I need for Velma are dual sided. One with just glasses and freckles on the first side and the other with freckles only and without glasses. First, I need to know where I can find face decals from LEGO Scooby-Doo minifigures online. That way I can find a Velma face pattern so I can manipulate the image with Gimp. Then, I can show whoever can help me the patterns I want on both sides of my blank minifigure heads. Please let me know who can help me. Thanks!

Hello! In this topic I want share with you my experience on creating LEGO animation in Blender. Here is a LEGO movie I've created: Blender is a professional, free and open-source 3D computer graphics software toolset used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D printed models, interactive 3D applications and video games. Software that I used to make this animation: LEGO Digital Designer Blender Sony Vegas STEP 1 First of all, I built all needed models in LEGO Digital Designer. STEP 2 I opened all models in Blender and created an animation. Then I rendered all scenes. STEP 3 All video files were ready, and the only thing I needed to do was to edit them in Sony Vegas. That was my first LEGO movie made in Blender. It took near 2 months to create it. Do you like it?
