Hi Eurobrickers! I'm back with the new MOC - this time it's a new Mammoet SK 6000 crane! Current configutation is Mammoet SK6000 + Mammoet SK350 Fixed jib (which is compatible in real life) Original ring crane was just recently released by Mammoet in Netherlads! This is fan work. For built used only open source resources from WEB! Ok, also this MOC was built with unofficial consulting with Mammoet engineers, because it was a lack of the info in WEB, so I have to ask some thiings to match the real masterpiece crane. UPD: I was invited to the real crane's world presentation on last (or prevois) Friday to the Netherlads with my Crane MOC to show it at the mass media day near the real SK6000! Unfortunately I was on vacation that time and lost this once in a lifetime chance.. How it works: Centered counterweight is fixed and non movable, around it there are two train racks (imne are almost 180 degrees), so the crane is rotating arong the ballast. Real SK6000 does not have it, but from SK350 I took the jib which was surprisely fix and not luffing - it has no adjustments. Machine is able to lift 6000 tons and lift 2000 tons at the lenght of the footbal field from the basis !! The main feature of this crane is that it does not use winch to operate the boom - it uses special mechanism with chain, so I implemented this also :) Please enjoy the video first: Built with genuine Lego technic parts + 3rd party strings + 2 BuWizzBrick 's. I refused using trixbrix curved rails because found a solution with genuine lego parts. The model has 7500 parts which makes it the biggest MOC in my career! It has 8 L motors for smooth operating, powered by two buwizzes. Crane weights 8,3 Kg excluding power sources (battery boxes) and counterweights!! And the height is about 2.3-2.4 meters. I have finally found the time to finish this MOC of a Morooka tracked dumper. It is loosely based on the Morooka MST 2200VD. The model is controlled using an S-brick and powered by the regular lego technic power functions battery box. Each track is driven by an PF L motor with a 1:1 ratio, giving the model plenty of speed and enough torque to drive over obstacles etc. Dumping is also motorized using a PF L motor driving a linear actuator. The battery box is hidden under the openable hood, and can be easily accessed and removed (although a lot easier if the dumpbed is up :)) Other functions include an openable door and a lock for the gate on the dumpbed, that opens if you dump. I tried to make a video but you guys will have to wait a bit longer because my baby is making a lot of noise in the background so I have to make a new one sometime when he is asleep :) Edit: made a new video - the period in the beginning when nothing happens is when the buwizz in the tractor fails to connect Some more pictures: https://bricksafe.com/pages/Arie/tracked-dumper Let me know what you think! -

This is a model of a bulldozer CAT D6N the famous American manufacturer. The model is made in the style of Model Team and Lego creator expert. The inner part consists of Lego technic parts. This model uses the following system Power Functions. The chassis of the bulldozer has an active suspension like the original model. The control of the bulldozer knife is carried out in two directions. The operator's cabin is fully detailed. The model uses four motors, two L motors for turning the chassis, one M motor for lifting and lowering the knife, and a train motor is used to turn the knife.

First of all I started this MOC just due the audi 42160 wheels. I bought mine one week ago so I do not have them yet... that is why I am using the zetros wheels. They are a little bit wider so I think the new ones will fit perfectly if I do not have any surprises with the measures... For now we have a manual MOC with pendular suspension, two diffs, gearbox to alternate between the two functions of the arm and a simple steering mechanism. I am being faster that I use to be because I started it last thursday so I am quite happy with the result until now. My next goals are choose the reference machine that could be a caterpillar 992 or 988 and based on that do it the corresponding engine a v12 or V8, I also think to do another little gearbox if I have enough room to operate the machine more faster without load but I hope not to have room enough . Problems right now are that the machine has more travel that the real one in comparison... but it is a small problem because I usually see just the opposite problem and that is a serious problem for me at least... -
Hello there, after a short break, I can now show you the new update of my digital city project. This time i added the new book store to the city and expanded the roads. I also changed and added some details you told me. Therefore I changed the subway entrance to an emergency exit and added the road construction site. Feel free to watch the building video below. I´m happy if you do cause it would help my little channel to grow a bit :) Below the video I also posted the current pictures of the city. The city layout in the overview. I tried my hand at Volvo's construction truck, the FMX. This time I went for a smaller scale, 1:45 which should be around minifigure scale. The model features articulated suspension, allowing for some excellent posing and the bucket can be raised. For the rest it is really a display model. Note the detailed exhaust aftertreatment system closely resembling the real thing. I'm considering building some other Volvo models in this scale though I anticipate an FH to be quite the challenge. Hello all, I would like to present a new project. It's a rotary drilling rig based on the Liebherr LB44 and based on the chassis of the lego technic crawler crane 42042 Here are some WIP pictures, I used the carriage (with some mods) and part of the superstructure (mainly the gearbox) of the 42042 because it's quite a good design and starting point. I already have put a reduction gear on the upper LA's (not visible in the pictures) because with the direct link the motor was not able to lift the boom. On the real machine the winches are located on the boom, but on my machine I will use the existing winches of the 42042. Also the driveshaft of the upper LA's will be modified to make it a bit stronger. Next picture is the boom in a more or less rest-transport position As always comments are always welcome. -
Here is a little crew! These two models are very compact, so very simple technically. I wanted to do the same type of model as the little LEGO sets. The forklift: The arm can be moved using a worm gear/8t system. The towballs are here to limit the movement of the system. The fork moves when you turn the 12t gear. There is a pin with friction to keep it in position. The truck is even simpler. It has a steering and the dropsides are openable. The LDD file is available on Rebrickable. And here is the video! -
I everybody! Gee, it has been over a year since I posted my last MOC here. I've built others since but I'm yet to take the photos and videos of them. Nonetheless, in order to force myself to post the full MOC here in a near future, I present you the current MOC I'm working on. A self-loading concrete truck. In case you are wondering, it's one of these: Concept 1 had the following working functions (here are some renderings of it): - 4-wheel steering via the beacon on top if the cabin; - 180 degree rotating seat in the cabin (unlocked by the 2L liftarm on the bonnet); - rotating the drum via the 12-tooth double bevel gears on each side - tilting the drum and raising the bucket via the 12-tooth double bevel gears on each side under the white covers (left one is open) It had some issues that needed tweaking namely: - the wheels touch the front arches when steering; - the wheel-base is too long; - it looks a bit crude and is missing taillights and exhaust and other details Concept 2 is currently on my desk but I do not have my camera on me to take photos. So far it has just under 700 parts and better looks and functions and I'll try to post a few renderings of it soon. Hope you've liked it so far and comments, tips and critiques are always welcome -

Thulgard by David de Rijke, on Flickr Few of the ships of the once so mighty Mitgardian expedition survived their voyage, but the brave survivors joined up and found land! On the vast continent of Vela, yet unknown to Historica, they founded their new home, Thulgard. As the wood of the ships was used for pallissades and watch towers, the crews went out to forage and build some structures to survive the incoming winter. They did not go unnoticed, however... Their new settlement of Thulgard seemed to be placed in the domain of the Empire, and some imperial officers already stood at the gates to reclaim it, diplomatically. Not a single change however that Mitgardian captain Amkyr will let that happen! Thulgard lays in the Westerlands, the -obviously- western region of the Empire, ruled by the house of Glainthes, who have their seat near Bunnock's Barn, half a day's march away. At least it has the best rockwork I have ever produced :p The mountain had been under construction for, like, a year, so I am kind of glad that I am done, for now I sorted out my lego, I can't wait to build much and much more! Alas I kind of forgot I am studying abroad now for some weeks, so I had to hurry with the photography before I left. I might wanna make better pictures when I am back!

Model was built for Lego contest „Build the construction machines of the future”. Later it received many improvements… In short: it is wheeled excavator without operator’s cabin. I didn’t pattern the model on any real machine. As a scale I took Claas’s wheels. For driving there are two XL motors, which drive the 4 wheels, through two-speed gearbox. First gear ratio is 5:1, and second 1,8:1. The gears are changed by M motor and two 1x7 racks. Both axles are steered by M motor with gear ratio 3:1. In the front there are blade, driven by another M motor. In the upper part of the excavator there are three comperssors for three pnematic functions. First, which drives the four big pnematic cylinders, consists of L motor and two pnematic pumps. Next two compressors are the same (L motor + one pump) and they drive the pneumatic cylinders for moving second section of the arm and the bucket. The valves are steered by three Servos. For excavator rotation I used L motor with gear ratio 155:1. In the front there are double Led lights, powered by a switch. The trailer is a simple liftarm construction. The bed is tipped by one linear actuator driven by XL motor. It is powered by switch, because of lack of free channels on the IR receivers. Gallery

It was displayed this weekend at the BrisBricks Morayfield Brick Expo and will be displayed later again this year at Chandler. The coaster uses the CDX Blocks track and everything else is LEGO. Name: SkyTrax Allegiance: Autobot Alt Modes: Seaplane, Excavator This project was Inspired by a sketch shown in TF:Generations book published back in the early 2000's. Since I am a fan of triple changer, I have been harboring intentions to build it one day , using LEGO of coz! And that day finally came (early last year), when I discovered the toy prototype of this TF actually exists ,despite not being used in G1 Transformers (below). What a shame! And off I go! First 3 months progress were really fast and I'm almost done building in 6 months. It took me another year to put a closure to this due to me procrastinating* and felt unsure of its final color scheme. *I actually initiated 5 other lego triple changer projects between this one. EXCAVATOR MODE I kinda lowered my bar here. Usually I prefer to use real working tracks for my LEGO creations. This time around, due to complexity of triple changers... I must implement "fake" tracks. SEAPLANE MODE Propeller was the last thing I applied before wrapping this project up. Initially its a 2-blade prop, but I took the liberty to confirm my design by googling photos of seaplanes to discover 3-blade is much common. ROBOT MODE He ended up top heavy with huge back kibble. Luckily his wide footprints ensured his stability. I started this a little into the new year and let me say the good thing about a building site MOC is it doesn't have to look finished to be so. Woohoo! I realised then that I had never made a building site MOC which seemed a dereliction of duty considering building buildings is what us AFOLs do right? Being firmly stuck in the past when it comes to LEGO dimensions (the mathematical measurement method, not the game console games) I like to build 4-wide vehicles and so generally build buildings to a slightly smaller height than is common these days. Way back in 2007 or thereabouts I picked up the Tower Crane set (#7905). Looked great on the box but to be kind to it it looked terrible when included into my city at the time (like the Eiffel Tower did). Size of course was the big problem, too high and too wide, detraction. Conscious that the scale needed to fit be appropriate to the style of my city and also that the road needed to connect to another road the building site area was quite restrictive at 24x34 studs. This made it a little tricky to fit in everything (actually I didn't include any external scaffolding or portable cabin as a result of having no space to put it but in the end I added a further 16x48 baseplates to accommodate the roofed hoarding and side lane) but I find the restrictions made the build overall more enjoyable as there a little challenges here and there. The tower crane is 5x5 studs which itself introduces a few problems mainly related to the attachment of the ladders and boom. Two counterweights for the boom are used, one the official weight black brick but seeing that in reality you usually see grey concrete slabs (or things that look like concrete slabs) being used I tried to replicate this look. The big problem here was the simple fact that my counterweights combined were not heavy enough to support the boom with any significant load. So off I went to raid the tool box and filled a revised hollowed counterweight with nails (see here). Speaking of booms, the builders built this in record time to cash in before the next crash. Hope you Town fans and 4-wide loyalists out there like this build. Happy to hear people's thoughts or comments on it! I will look to replace these waste shoots with a white or another colour version at some point, just to add a splash of colour, not that too much LBG is bad or anything. Would like the 1x1x2 cylinders used for the streetlights not to have cutouts. Got the calculator out and the office area is accurate. Made a little microscale version of the 'finished building' for this billboard. The construction company logo is the jumping frogs. Maybe because they jumped legal hoops to avoid being prosecuted on health and safety grounds? Finally can get that Welder to work! Also you can look down the dry riser. Someones's not happy. Fact. All tower crane operators end up with glasses due to eye strain despite in cabin cameras. Just made that up.. The view from above. Please make sure your figs are not afraid of heights before looking down.

Hello everybody! I’m an avid reader of eurobricks, visiting this marvellous website at least daily, but I’ve never had the balls to post any of my MOCs. Well, this time it’s different. I present to you my latest MOC, a set TLG should have made a long time ago. It’s a road roller! The only function it has is steering plus a fake V6 engine driving both the front and rear drum. More pictures can be found at my bricksafe and rebrickable accounts. For those interested, here is the LDD file. The interior is a bit basic, but I’ll leave it be for now, focus on university and other MOCs. But I may return to it and improve it in the future (I have a few ideas already). Suggestions, tips and comments in general are welcome! There is always room for improvement

Hello all, This is a MOC of a backhoe loader, inspired by the style of the 2015 city contruction sets, and in a similar scale. My desire to do one had a lot to do with my disappointment with the one that came in the train set that came out around that time. I spent a long time finding similar city MOCs before starting, and photos of the real thing, making sure it would feature everything that I could think of.. namely, articulated actuators, outriggers, front and back shovel. I used mostly recent parts, the only real exception of a discontinued part being the back shovel, Lego never created a click-hinge update of that part. What will happen if to many people are in charge on the construction site? Maybe this. Intended for younger children but everyone might enjoy it anyways :) Would love to hesr your comments (exept for comments about the voice acting job, hehe, that is not my strongest ability) Love all the yellow Lego City Construction objects.
